And what are those training methods that we all agree are the reason that we're not reaching our goals?

    [Serie A] Cagliari 1-2 Juventus [April 9th, 2022]

Good and important win in the end. Very important to see that the team is capable of turning games around. We would have probably lost that game a few months ago.

Only because he faced Max in the final :snoop:

    Massimiliano Allegri

Have a bit mixed feelings about that as I can see the benefit of being part of the first team at Juve and training with them on daily basis, but I think he already had that experience last year and now he has actually gained experience by playing quite a lot. He wouldn't have got the minutes...

    Summer mercato thread 2022-23 season

We definitely need to add more goals to the team. With Ronnie and Dybala gone + Chiesa injured there is real lack of potential sources for goals. We can't expect Vlahovic to score every game. Very risky to be overly reliant on him as loss of form and injuries can happen.

    Massimiliano Allegri

Not sure how that's relevant or in any way answers my question. I can play along though. Would we know about De Sciglio or El Shaarawy if Allegri didn't give them a chance, don't have a clue and don't know what the purpose of this exercise is. My point was that there are currently no Italian...

If Italian teenagers aren't good enough to play for the likes of Salernitana, Venezia or Empoli how are they supposed to be good enough to play for Juventus?

We have a 22 year old guy leading our defence and we just bought a 22 year old guy to lead our attack. Seems to have no problem trusting young players when they are good enough.

    Paulo Dybala

It's not only Dybala though. Come the summer we've lost Ronaldo, Dybala, Kulu, Berna and possibly even Morata in the last 12 months, while we've only signed Vlahovic and Kean. We have spots available in attack so don't need to sell anyone to sign a player there. In midfield any incoming player...

    Paulo Dybala

That scenario still requires us to sign two attackers in Raspa and Morata. Currently we have Vlahovic, Chiesa, Kean, Kaio and most likely Cuadrado under contract for next season, with Chiesa and Kaio being injured and Kean's future here being less than certain. That would leave Vlahovic and...

    Paulo Dybala

It's not even about reinforcing the attack, we simply lack the numbers there. We've made it a priority, in other positions we at least have the numbers.

    Champions League 2021-22

There are probably multiple factors contributing to the strength of their league: Lots of good domestic players, many of them technically proficient. Popular among South-American players, quite a few quality players from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay for example. Very tactical league, some might...

Perhaps it's better to wait for another season and then sign him on more reasonable terms with one year left on his contract.

They spent €53M on Werner too. Chelsea's track record with big money forward signings is pretty terrible with the likes of Crespo, Sheva, Torres and Morata also flopping there.

    Champions League 2021-22

They are good at home and pretty terrible away from home. Most of those losses in la Liga have come away from home.

Fagioli, Fagioli, Rovella, Fagioli, Miretti, Fagioli, Fagioli seems more accurate.

I can't get into Max's head or know what happens in training, but I'm sure that he picks the players that he thinks give the team the best chance to succeed. Do you think he wouldn't play Miretti if he thought the team would do better with him in the team?
