I don't know about that. Mancini had a Bonucci-Chiellini world class backline and solid international midfielders in Veratti and Barella and front line with Chiesa and Insigne. They have Fratessi, Retegui and Chirstane starting right now, the gap in quality is pretty big imo.

You need creative players upfront to create chances and score goals as well though. I do consider Calafiori a generational talent but I sure wouldn't sacrifice Chiesa for Koopmeiners though.
