Nah, he's just patiently waiting for the best deal around. His stock will be high once a team has a lot of injuries or loses its first game and panics for a new signing. Happy he's gone though. Good physical attributes but most other areas of his play are just very basic.

By rejecting Villa he wasted this year of his career imo. He isn't tactical or good enough to play in the midfield 2 and there are too many option as a #10 so midfield is very unlikely. RW is covered with Nico G, Portuguese Giovinco and Weah. I don't see him playing any significant role tbh.
