That's a weird first-night investigation when you and Snobist are in the game and I seem to be getting saved from the lynch.

That doesn't make sense. Matt could have stayed in the game safe and sound for at least a couple more nights. He would have claimed to be the BG only if he'd been investigated last night (which is an unlikely scenario on its own). Because he may be telling the truth, we cannot vote him.

So tell me why would a G claim to be the BG and put himself in such a dangerous position? Matt was never going to be even close to getting votes today.
