    The Financial Situation

That can't be true. Barca have never had a shirt sponsor and never will because they are above that sort of thing. They definitely wouldn't put a charity on their shirt (and claim huge credit for it) just as a way to transition to having a sponsor just like everyone else does. No, Barca are...

[Coppa Italia 1/2] JUVENTUS vs Calciopoli Directors [27th Jan, 2016]

Not a terribly interesting game. Juve were okay, Inter were shit. No idea what Mancini's plan was for that game. He's made no effort to close down Cuadrado (you'd think he might at least switch Biabiany to that side to provide some cover). He's fielded a hugely physical midfield, but...

Non-Juve Transfer news (official or rumors)

Things wouldn't be so bad if they at least let them play as wingers. But one of Garcia's key failings was that he always wanted to push the fullbacks up and the wingers infield and they just weren't intelligent or technically gifted enough to be able to do that, which is a key reason for Roma...

    Mario Lemina

    Have people notice 'Lemina' is an anagram of 'menial'? menial ˈmiːnɪəl/ adjective adjective: menial 1. (of work) not requiring much skill and lacking prestige. synonyms: unskilled, lowly, humble, low-grade, low-status, routine, humdrum, boring, dull;

Non-Juve Transfer news (official or rumors)

Perotti has a chance to be useful because he can beat a man one-on-one and cross. He should help Dzeko. El Shaarawy is another Salah. He'll look good on the odd occasion that Roma get to counter-attack, but will get lost in the crowd in most games.

    [ITA] Serie A 2015/2016

I think a big issue was that many people didn't understand what sort of player Kondogbia was. There was always this suggestion that he was in some way comparable to Pogba, but (as I said at the time and was lambasted for it) he has much more in common with Sissoko than Pogba and so Inter were...

    Claudio Marchisio

:boh: He'd have spent more years out on loan/co-ownership but hard to confidently say more than that.

    [ITA] Serie A 2015/2016

Perisic is doing okay. It's Kondogbia that is looking like a waste of cash just now. Inter desperately need someone who can pass the ball reasonably in midfield. And Inter have been extremely reliant on Handanovic this season, so I don't quite understand the praise their defence has been...

    [Serie A] JUVENTUS 1-0 Roma (24th Jan 2016)

Not really. It's a very different skill remaining defensively solid when playing like Roma did last night, rather than remaining solid when trying to be an attacking or balanced team. And Roma are inevitably going to be more focused when playing Juve than when playing Atalanta or Verona.

    [Serie A] JUVENTUS 1-0 Roma (24th Jan 2016)

Always tough to break through when a decent side chooses to play as negatively as Roma did, but it always felt like Juve would win the game given the form and general mood of the two teams. Juve probably should have scored early because Roma set up badly. Nainggolan played too wide and...

    Antonio Conte

Not quite sure how to compare Conte to the other two mentioned just now. Conte hasn't really had the chance to have a go at winning the CL, where the others have had a bunch of great chances to win it. On the other hand, I can't imagine Juve winning the scudetto in 2011/12 with Ancelotti or...
