I actually like having players who call for the ball, especially when the game isn't going their way. It shows that they have the balls to step up and make a difference instead of hiding behind their teammates.
Nice to hear him say 'yes', but being randomly asked on the street isn't legally binding or anything. It wouldn't be surprising to hear him say that just to appease a fan on the street.
:agree: If we had that mentality, we would have retired it with Sivori, and then Platini wouldn't have been able to wear it. Or if we retired it with Platini, Baggio wouldn't have worn it, or Del Piero, or Tevez etc.
@PhRoZeN @Marc I finally found out what's happening. Melbourne Victory vs Atletico wasn't actually part of the ICC, it was an ICC-approved friendly.
Which means... WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD! :D
