    Alex Sandro

May be Sarri's instructions though, since he likes playing asymmetrically with one attacking and one defensive fullback. If Cuadrado keeps up his good performances he could be the choice for the more attacking role. Against Conte's 3-5-2, Sarri set up to nullify Inter's central threat and force...

    Sami Khedira

Sami gets a lot of undue hate, because as has been mentioned a lot of his contribution comes off the ball with his intelligence and reading of the game. But on the other hand that also means he sometimes gets a free pass when he has a bad game because there's this idea that he's always bringing...

    Federico Bernardeschi

Apparently Ramsey took a knock during the warm-up so Sarri decided not to risk him. Berna was a good choice to cover Brozovic with his athleticism; props to him for playing the sacrificial role.

    Champions League 2018/19

One key factor is that Ajax have 6 players who are a yellow card away from suspension: De Ligt, Van de Beek, Mazraoui, Blind, Ziyech, Tagliafico. Matuidi is the only player at risk for us. Players on one yellow card: Dybala, Bentancur, Bernardeschi, Chiellini, Cuadrado :howler:, Rugani, Szczesny

Thanks friends <3 Nice to see so many of the old guard still around. I haven't been around much, but still very much following the team and after a match like that I had to drop in and say hello.

Berna is back in Turin. Better for him to get a couple of weeks rest.

    Wojciech Szczęsny

His best shootout performance was in the CL final vs Milan, but our players managed to take even worse penalties than theirs :(

    Juan Cuadrado

Cuadrado dropping deeper/more central is effective for drawing in defenders and forcing uncomfortable handovers from one defender to another. It's super effective now that we have Cancelo who's a huge threat down the right, and they can't just stick with Cuadrado knowing that Lichtsteiner is...

[CL] JUVENTUS 1-2 Manchester United [November 7th, 2018]

We could have planned to have Mandragora come back this season instead of loan+buyback.
