sounds like you guys are describing Cavani. :>
  2. Gonzalo Higuaín (47 apps, 8 goals in CL and 43% chance conversion rate)

JoJo is injured all the time. He'd be our Pato. I think Cavani is our best bet.
  3. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

There will never be a time where every penny earned can be re-invested into the club. Clubs will always have debts, and clubs lose more money than they make. Provincial clubs are the only ones that try to square off every quarter or year. But the big clubs, the major clubs, the Championship...
  4. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

Champions cost the going market rate, however f^&%ed up the going rate is. So if there are four-five Champion players on the market, and if we cannot make a competitive offer for one of them along with City, Barca, Real, Chelsea or PSG.. then we will have a bargain basement buy. I'd say...
  5. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

Dzeko for 20m would be good business.

  7. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

Marotta: 'Juve can't compete on market' Get ready for some bargain basement buys and/or some Elia 2.0's.
  8. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

I know that. Regardless, we signed Matri over Dzeko. That summer we got Quags. Dzeko didn't come, stayed at Wolfsburg - went to City in Jan. While in January we got Matri................................. and Toni.
  9. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

Well we signed Matri instead and I'm glad for it.
  10. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

Did he not snub us two years ago ?
  11. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

Agreed. We deserve a real Champion. A Cavani -- who can really be a great in the next few years. Or a RVP. I personally would love to see Cavani. Imagine Cavani linking up with Vucinic and being served by Pirlo (or Veratti one day).
  12. Edin Džeko - Striker - Manchester City - Part 2

He should be our last choice for a new striker. Another Borriello -- snubbed us, turned us down a few years ago, and now that he's reduced to the bench, and the margin of consideration at Man City -- nowwww Juve is worthy to him? No Borriello, and no Dzeko. Juve is not someone's last choice...
  13. Gonzalo Higuaín (47 apps, 8 goals in CL and 43% chance conversion rate)

Agreed. That's why Marrotta makes me nervous. This summer he's expected to bring in the champion, but I'm concerned his half-assed transfer games will let us lose a champion again and, like you said, we'll end up with a Borriello or something. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
  14. [Coppa Italia] Finale: Juventus - Naples Soccer (20-May-2012)

So, as I understand it, left isn't his favored side, right? And you're saying being that left is not his favored side, playing on that side in an offensive role made it even more-so uncomfortable?
  15. [Coppa Italia] Finale: Juventus - Naples Soccer (20-May-2012)

Chiellini and DC injuries are a problem because Caceres plays right-back and centre-back. Those are his positions. Not left-back, he played left-back in an 'emergency' situation, and he looked out of place. In RB and CB he's great.
  16. Gonzalo Higuaín (47 apps, 8 goals in CL and 43% chance conversion rate)

I think we can't go wrong with either Higuain or Cavani. They'd both be amazing in our shirt. But can we really entrust Marrotta with buying prospective champions?
  17. [Coppa Italia] Finale: Juventus - Naples Soccer (20-May-2012)

Would have played Giach instead of Esti yesterday.
