You are right, I think he should've even wait to his contract expire and than sign for us. That would be the only right thing to do!!!

C'mon we had our chance to sign him, but we opted for Krasic. If we should feel "betrayed" or "rejected" by him, than by the same logic we rejected him and signed Krasic.

It was never between us and City, like it was with Aguero. We were after him in June, and City in January.
We will never know the real truth, all i know he went to City and didn't come to Juve, now let me stay there as 4th striker (of course if he is lucky)
Would you wait until June knowing that Manchester City was offering you a bucketload of cash?

And what makes you think that the situation would have been even better in June of that year?

They finished 7th.

Again.
He chose money and City. That was my point all along. In June we could have signed a non-Eu player. We were after Aguero too, remember.

Truth be told we might end up with him. Marrota likes to sign players who are rejected by their own clubs.

Vucinic, Boriello, Pirlo, Barzagli, need I go on?

Yeah, what I've seen from Dzeko in city I've liked. Don't watch him/them too often but he has been good and he would have scored 20+ goals for us as our #1.

TBH, I often thought he was poor in City, had a poor touch, went too deep and too wide and seemed to lack the spark. But I think much of it is due to the fact that City's playing style really didnt suit him and the lack of confidence he got from the coach.

I think he could be great for us, although I'd prefer Higuain. Džeko and Cavani are tied for second.

He should be our last choice for a new striker. Another Borriello -- snubbed us, turned us down a few years ago, and now that he's reduced to the bench, and the margin of consideration at Man City -- nowwww Juve is worthy to him? No Borriello, and no Dzeko. Juve is not someone's last choice. Cavani should be our primary target, after that then maybe RVP (who will prob def renew with Arsenal).

Let's be realistic. If our number one target is City's fourth striker, then we are definitively in trouble. There is no way we can beat the likes of City or RM!

Agreed. We deserve a real Champion. A Cavani -- who can really be a great in the next few years. Or a RVP. I personally would love to see Cavani. Imagine Cavani linking up with Vucinic and being served by Pirlo (or Veratti one day).

Nobody in his right mind will say that Dzeko is better than Aguer or Rooney, but his stats in Man City arent that bad:

    But but but...

He underperformed at City. He wouldn't be an upgrade.

    Dzeko is another Borriello?

FFS, it has been explained. We tried to sign him, but Wolfsburg didnt want to sell and was asking more then we wanted to pay. They gave him a 5 mil € a year salary and tried to keep him.

We signed Krasić and filled our non-eu spot. In January he was unhappy at Wolfsburg, Man City came in for him and he signed for them. He never rejected us.

It doesnt work like that in real life. Ibrahimović was on the bench in barcelona, does that mean he is a poor player?

The style of play, league, confidence etc all play a role, and a player thats poor in one team can be excellent in another.
