i suppose the last striker at the club who had the same characteristics as Zlatan was Boksic. Boksic had great pace, great ball control, could dribble 2 or 3 players without breaking a sweat. but his finishing wasnt great and he didnt really score enough with the given opportunities.
i'd love to see a large forward like boksic who can dribble in juve:)

zlatan ain't that large but he's got some quality.he has the ability to create and if dp and our mids contribute then scoring won't be a problem.

before trezeguet,we didn't have so much of a main man in attack.

inzaghi, kova,dp etc. all scored a fair portion of goals and i wouldn't mind seeing a fluid attacking system like that.plus we've got neddy now,who scores as much,if not more, than zidane used to for us.

Not right now. He has real potential but he has yet to lose his sharp edges (is that a correct English saying?). Ibrahimovic needs another season in Holland, though he'll never admit that himself.

This season is no reason to buy him certainly! He was quite inconsistent in the first half and he's been injured for the rest. He'll return only Saturday!

I suspect his performances for Sweden on Euro2004 will be decisive, whatever he shows there will be what he will be judged on. Regardless of what he has done in the Eredivisie (;)) so far.
He has potential, but it has yet to come out this season.

I have a video with a great goal from Ibrahimovic that shows he does have potential but I can't upload it to the forums of course. Can anyone help me out here? I think it would certainly be of benefit to this discussion!

Okay so here's the funny thing. I just did a google search and came up with different results every time

soccerage says 186
soccer-europe tells me Trezeguet's 188cm
wsoccer gives me 191cm
some iprimus page tells me he stands at 1.90cm
and finally, our very own juventuz.com profiles say 187cm

:wth:
