Well, yes it has to be discussed because in the end only Marty can unban people.
What political routine did I use to hide my misstake? I think you're missing the point, i never said I made a misstake in banning hime, which I still think I didnt, however I did make the misstake of not specifying the duration of the ban, and hence I couldnt use his reregistering as a ground to permanently ban him.
However, I let him saty banned for 10 days because he deserved to be banned.
I am not kissing Z's a**, OK? Really.
But I know what it's like being second guessed as a mod. Frankly, it gets old quickly.
It really is no fun being the heavy, take my word on it.
A forum without a strong mod (or rather, strong mods) is anarchy. Which is fun---for a short while. Then it sucks.
I thing it is easy to lose site of a rather glaring fact: mods do what they do because they care. The pay sucks.
A site where mods are not trusted; or where they are second guessed routinely will cease to exist. I've seen it happen.
I'll tell you another thing....I belong to much smaller sites, who have banned more people in one day than this site has banned ever .
If the above makes me look like a kiss a**---oh well.

TBH I didn't start joking around with Zlatan until he became a moderator, we have been bickering back and forth on Nawaf's thread arguing who is a better keeper and of course jabbing each other in the process, did he ban me? no he didn't!
I opened the thread "my how times change!" (which failed drasitcally
) but did he close it? no he didn't!
I keep taking digs at him how he is a dictator....blah blah blah. But in all honesty he is doing a great job and I really don't see the part where you guys cannot joke around with him...he is cool

Im gonna be perfectly honest, without intention to hurt or offend anyone.
To me, Zlatan's personality seems to be heavily moderated. Maybe he's shielding his real self, but he hardly ever makes a spontaneous statement. One one hand his percieved calmness is refreshingly reassuring, it can seem soulless.
