Zlatan was much younger then both, yet was very good in build up play.

Del Piero had a few lesser years, during those years zlatan was better, despite young age.

Pre injury del piero was on another planet, while zlatan got better with age
Also for Del Piero when Juve returned from Serie B. I don"t remember Zlatan as an outstanding player at Juve, he had some great goals (like vs Benfica).. But in cl he was poor against big teams, just like now..

Ahh, i LOVE comparisons, especially when people compare shit

Del piero, during 2004-2006 aged 29-31
63 games in Serie A, 26 goals. In Cl 17 games, 6 goals

Zlatan, was 20 back then, turning 21. oh look, just a year older then pogba, certainly he was a complete player

Zlatan, during 2010-2012 aged 28-30, when he returned. simular age as del piero was above
61 games in Serie A, 42 goals, 22 assists. In CL 16 games, 9 goals.

Comparing del piero and zlatan at simular age, shows that zlatan became ALOT better over the years, and actually dwarfs Del Piero statwise.
Stop with drugs pls. Zlatan was 22-24 when he was @ Juve. And in 2010 the Serie A was weaker than 5-6 year before. He dwarfs Del Piero? With his nose yes.

Zlatan had his break trough at juventus. People really expect a 20 year old, to outperform a legend in his first two seasons at top level ?

Again... Are you even proof reading what you write?
You compare del piero in 2004-2006 who was 29/31. When comparing to zlatan at simular age when he returned to serie a, the 2010-2012 seasons, zlatan's stats are impressively better. Proving zlatan was a player that got better with age

Also for Del Piero when Juve returned from Serie B. I don"t remember Zlatan as an outstanding player at Juve, he had some great goals (like vs Benfica).. But in cl he was poor against big teams, just like now..
yeah, choker against big teams in cl...

lets forget the 2 goals and 5 assists in 7 games he scored so far for psg, or the goals scored against barcelona during his time at milan. certainly barcelona is not a big team and far inferior to milan

Del Piero was starting CL finals when he was 22 and was second top scorer. Scored in a CL final when he was 23 and again was second top scorer and was topscorer of CL when he was 24.

Considering games played and goals scored in serie a, he scored over 50% more.

Yeah, i call that dwarfed.

22-24 ? proves even more zlatan got better with age.

weaker serie a ? so the much higher goal to game ratio in europe shows also europe was weaker ?

And just as i said, SO MANY TIMES, del piero was a legend, but after 2003, he was a much less good player. He was still worldclass, but less then before.

Proves? Yeah sure.
And the defenders of this generatio are pussies compared with the defenders in the 90's (until 2004).. The only die hard defenders of this generation are Pepe, Ramos, Chiellini & maybe Hummels.. Defenders like Pique are a joke compared with some defenders in the 90's.

We have a lesser generation of defenders on toplevel, i share this opinion alot.
But apart from the top3, serie a's other teams, defensively are simular now as they were in 2006.

Let me get this straight, i'm not dissing del piero, as pre 2004 del piero was the best forward i ever saw play. But after the age of 28, zlatan was a better player as he had a later peak.

as nevded says, he's around the level of messi and ronaldo. Only a delusional hater cannot agree on that

Wow Zacheryah :sergio:

Zlatan was 20 when he joined us

You are something really, cheering for milan, saying Zlatan was better than Ale.
Worse yet Mr.Zach wants Milan to get an 'easy' opponent like Porto or Gala in the next round :touched: (Assuming he obviously wants them to go through to the last 8).

never EVER talk about someone getting the #10 shirt... it should be retired for the rest of our existance...

ot: i'd rather get zlatan for 30M (10M tranfer + 10M for 2 seasons or something like that) than another meh striker
for 30M (15-20M striker and 2-4M for 3 or more seasons)

yes he was a rat for leaving us, but if he is willing to come back and finish the job.. why not? He is one of the best strikers available for the price i stated above... he has 34 goals and 14 assists this season and 40 goals and 17 assists last season.. so yeah... rather him than a mediocre striker

I cheer for serie a when its not against the interest of juventus. The usual fags pull it out of context and blow it up to huge proportions. Dont be that fag.

28-end of juve carreer del piero < 28+ zlatan

Disagree ?

check last season, how he kept a injury ravaged milan team ahead of us most of the season, while our team was plain better apart from the frontline. while also getting milan to quarters, even scoring vs barcelona, have an asshole ref sell the game to fagcelona.
Yeah, that was pretty amazing.

alex nearly did it in 2008. nearly. guess who was playing in the scudetto winners team sadly

yeah, so we can get them in the semi finals and be assured of the final.

cant really think of any other team that could get in the semi's, and that we we could confidently beat. it would also mean serie a had two teams in the semi's and one in the final. good.
