Why can't it be that he really thinks Thiago Silva is the best defender he played together with? And if he was simply lying and "sucking a teammate's cock", wasn't it gonna be easier if he just said that Nesta is the player? Nobody was gonna object to that.

@ LowLife, Giorgio is a player Zlatan played against, not with. Well, they played together shortly in 2006, but Giorgione was a LB back then and was hardly getting chances from Capello.

I know Balzareti benched him. But is it easier for him to judge player which he played against than the players which he played with. I know you could argue that they practice together and bla bla, but practice and real game are two different things.

Maybe that's why Ibra said that T. Silva is the best defender he played with and not "best defender in the world". He keeps that for Chiellini. :D
Zlatan did say once that Chiellini is the toughest opponent he played against.
