He wasn't emotionally attached to Juve only being here for two years. Can you blame him? The so-called bandiera Cannavaro is more to blame though.

He wrote in his book that Alessio Secco went from the guy who used to call him and say "Zlatan, training at 9:00 today ok?" to the sporting director

Secco told him before the summer, if you get any offers - consider them.

When the team returned from summer vacation Secco told him you're not going anywhere.

Also in the summer-camp Deschamps put Nedved and him in the same room hoping Zlatan would change his mind :D

Another interesting thing he said that there were not many clubs interested in him summer of 06. Only Milan and Inter. Teams were afraid of his aggressive behavior + he had been injured for some while in the 05-06 season.

Weren't some saying that he never tried to force his way out of Juve or something like that?

Lol it was 5 years ago, not 100 years, ofcourse everyone knows he forced his way out at the end, I mean, the playstation strike is infamous (and one of the most childish things he has ever done in his career). What people were saying was he wasnt any different from any of the others who left (difference, besides to Inter, was he was last to leave, at deadline, while others left June/July) , in fact had more of a reason to do so, but was labled as more or less the sole "traitor".

5 years ago, not everyone here was on Juventuz or XT. So I didn't know. And I posted it because I do indeed seem to remember someone saying he didn't force his way out but was sold because we needed to.

Ibra was being sold to Milan, then Inter got into the picture. Key word is sold, not forcing his way out (he wanted to leave ofcourse, but wasnt choosing destination, just to whatever top club thats competetive), club selling him. IMO he would been sold even if it wasnt calciopoli, unless Moggi miracously turned things around, he was pretty much done in Juve that spring. And yes, Camo and Trez were asking to leave big time, not getting good enough offers or being forced to stay doesnt change that fact. Ibra being disliked that season plus being sold to Inter made him an easy target to vent frustrations at and turn into some poster boy Judas, plus having a character traits that are easy to dislike, but generally allways thought the hate was 90% exaggerated.

Milan superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he doesn’t need a Golden Ball to prove how good a player he is.

The 2011 Ballon d’Or award is expected to go to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, a former teammate of the centre-forward at the Nou Camp.

However, the ex-Ajax, Juventus and Inter striker has told Telefoot that he doesn’t have any doubts over his own ability.

“Messi is a really strong player and I hope he continues to be one,” the Rossoneri ace is quoted as saying.

“He’s still very young, but he’s won almost everything that there is to win in this game,” he continued.

“In my head, though, I am the strongest of them all.
I certainly don’t need a Golden Ball to demonstrate that I am No 1.”
    Camel
