I have both of them avatar and username too, but I don't hate Zlatan so it seems I'm in minority
It's simple. You don't love Juve because of Del Piero, you love Del Piero because of Juve.
You probably became a Juve fan because of Del Piero but with time, as it's normal, Juve became > Del Piero.

Some love Del Piero more than they love Juve and the hatred towards Zlatan is understandable.
Just read the reactions of some members when, lets say, Legrottaglie scores a goal for 1:0 and then the reactons when Del Piero will score a goal for 3:0 in a match that we eventually win 5:0.
You get "good job Legro" for the first case and going completely nuts in the second case.

For you and for me 1:0 win with a goal scored by Legro is the same as 1:0 win with a goal scored by Alex.
Some members give the impression that an 1:0 win with a goal scored by Legro on a match where DP didn't play is meaningless.

+1 Agree with you and as of Del Pero and Juve love I would say, that

I even hear statements like, Del piero is better than Zidane sometimes

Yeah, i'm more fanatic Juve fan so for me Juve>football>del piero.
Of course, Del Piero will always be bigger and more valuable to me than Legro, Molinaro, Salihamidzic and the likes but during a Juve match i don't give a fuck who scores the goals, who creates the chances and who doesn't play as long as we win.

Azzurri7, that novel you took the time to write didn't help your case any further. You still look like a fool in this one. You need to realize that DP and Zlatan aren't enemies.
And one more thing, care to provide some evidence for once in your life as to what you are implying? If you keep throwing around mindless accusations such as "Zlatan challenged Juve fans" all that's gonna happen is people will continue to see right through your arguments and find only a bitter little man.
Keep it civilized, because I'm not in the mood to start calling names, eh boy?

I never said Del Piero and Zlatan are enemies...Infact I never brought Del Piero into this discussion, Alen and Vlatko mentioned Del Piero, I didn't.

Evidence of what? I didn't accuse him of anything. You can just surf around the net since he's your idol and look for his statements before the Juventus vs Inter match.

Like I said, you and the other few ones are the only Zlatan lovers thats just because of roots and where he comes from like I said....As for me, I don't need people to continue to see the right through my arguments because the hate towards him exists whether Azzurri7 is here or not.

Another thing i missed to mention......... i don't understand why would someone here take it as an insult if Zlatan is being called names ?
Actually, i don't even understand why would someone take it as a provocation.
If someone says that Zlatan is a bad player, then yeah, even though it's useless, i understand the need to reply to that, but to feel insulted or provoked...nah.

The same goes for the other group. If i say that Zlatan is a great football player i'm not doing that to provoke you and you won't touch me a little bit if you call him a Zingaro. I'd appreciate a discussion where you'll make your points why Zlatan (or any other player that i believe is a very good one) isn't a great player, but you certainly won't provoke me if you talk trash about an Inter and Sweden NT player.

And based on what are you making these assumptions?

Do you know how they started supporting Juventus? Do you know since when they're supporting Juventus? Are you sure they'll stop supporting Juventus when Del Piero will retire? and how do you know they love Del Piero more than Juventus? Did they share that with you?

C'mon I know you're smarter than that.

As for the Legro example...I don't know what kind of example is that, but It's normal when Del Piero scores It's a special thing. You ever wondered why is it special when he scores?

Is it because he's been here for more than 15years year?
Is it because he's Juventus fans Idol?
Is it because he's the captain?
Is it because he's Juventus top scorer of all time?
Is it because he was the first one to commit to this team when they went down?
Is it because he never gave up when fans/media bash him non stop?
Is it because he's the symbol of this club?

Don't mix pepper with salt Alen when it's not needed. I jump out of my chair when Legro scores just like when Del Piero scores. But of course If you had to choose between Del Piero or Legro to score the winner vs Inter lets say everyone will pick Del Piero for what he is. But the joy will still be the same If Legro scores or Molinaro.

Stop making it as if it only happens here, you got Roma fans when it comes to Totti, you got Udinese fans when it comes to Di Natele, you got Milan fans wishing sometimes Maldini to score a header vs Inter and vice versa with Zanetti for Inter, you will have Messi for Barcelona in the future, we've had Batistuta for Viola before and Raul for Madrid right now. Shall I continue?

Sorry Alen, but making yourself look like you love this team more than the ones having Del Piero as an Idol means that you probably stands in top 5 loving your team the most If thats the case. Which is silly with no disrespect.

By observing the reactions during and after the match.

These are very nice examples why every Juve fan has to love and respect Del Piero but they aren't, by any means, examples why a goal scored by Del Piero is more special than a goal scored by any other Juve player (unless DP's goal is a last minute winner while the other goal is a last minute consolation goal for a 3:1 defeat)

But of course If you had to choose between Del Piero or Legro to score the winner vs Inter lets say everyone will pick Del Piero for what he is. But the joy will still be the same If Legro scores or Molinaro.
Actually, to me it makes absolutely no difference if Trez, DP or Molinaro scores a goal against Inter or Milan and if the choice is Trez or Del Piero or Molinaro-Del Piero or Trez-Molinaro i'll make a wild pick because i don't care at all who'll score.

Sorry Alen, but making yourself look like you love this team more than the ones having Del Piero as an Idol means that you probably stands in top 5 loving your team the most If thats the case. Which is silly with no disrespect.
Oh, you got it wrong. You and me love the team the same. Love can't be measured in this case but we obviously love the team a lot and that's why i said we love it the same.
The difference is in the way we show our love for the team. We both equally enjoy the fact that we won a match, but we differently enjoy the way how we won the match. To you it makes a difference if Del Piero scores a goal when we win, to me it makes no difference at all.
Neither way is wrong, but, to get back on the topic, it does show that Del Piero is your idol (again, it's not wrong to have him as your idol, it's normal) and that you're more sensitive to the fact that Zlatan played while Del Piero didn't.

Seriously, i'll apologize immediately if you say that it's not the case, but do you really think that those 2004-2006 episodes have absolutely nothing to do with your hatred for Zlatan and i (and few more) am wrong to have assumed that ?

So from the match-threads comments you read, you made/make all this conclusions? From the match comments you were able to identify everything? like how much they love the club and how they love Ale more than Juventus?

Interesting, really.

You're going off the line there. I said If you had to choose between Legro or Del Piero, everyone or the majority will pick Del Piero, not that they wouldn't be happy with Legro scoring....Please don't make a difference here, there's a different between enjoying Ale's goal more but the SATISFACTION is the same, Alen.

Let me tell you another thing, when all this undeserved bashing went on Pavel, I was wishing/hoping he would score all Juventus goals more than any other player and If we had any PK, I'd hope Nedved to take it. Please tell me what conclusion can you make here or assumptions, am I Pavel Nedved fan more than Juventus. I'd like to know.

Like you said, neither way is wrong, this is what makes football fans attached to this game more IMO. To me supporting your team in good and bad is something normal, but having an Idol in this game is part of Football.... and I see myself very normal to wish sometimes Ale grabbing a winner just like I have this friend of mine hardcore Buffon fan wishing the team sometimes playing Pk's so Gigi can save some pk's.

You got others keep repeating the same old dilemma "Team bigger than a player" TBH, this phrase is getting old and I can see dust on it. Who doesn't know that???

Back to Zlatan point, I never liked him since his Ajax days, don't know If you were here at the forums when we signed him, but my posts are still here, when we signed him from Ajax that was my nightmare. It has nothing to do with Alex. For Capello, I'd say yes(and trust me I have no reason to lie), I hated him for the way he treated Ale and thats also normal.

what about his childhood idol? it has suddenly turned to fat roni from Del Piero.
You are not the first hater to invent bullshit to feed your scorn, but he never said that, neither did he say he is a Juve fan. He said the automatic PR diplomatic advised by every agent, that he has dreamt to play for a big club, and hence indirectly Juventus since we are just that.

Zlatan has said since day one, when he his big clownish grin was seen in tv for the firs time as a young kid, that not only he doesnt he have a favourite club, but only favourite player he has is Ronaldo (and hence, said if he has to choose, he picks Inter BECAUSE Ronaldo plays there and he wants to play with him. That was it, A player fan, not a club fan).

Actually he corrected himself, he said Ronaldo is his second favourite player, Zlatan is his favourite player ;)

Delpie fanboys can love Zlatan too. I am a fan of Del Piero (although not a fanboy) since 96 and I love Ibra. The two aren't enemies.
Well said, ditto for me.

Though I wouldnt say love, its too strong of word only reserved for Del Piero (he almost defines football for me, so different levels for sure) and perhaps Zizou, Baggio, but I am defenitely a fan of Zlatans footballs skills, and has been since I saw him for the first time 9 years ago.
