Get over yourself King Ale and get over the fact there are people who recognize Ibrahimovic as great football player. You can twist this how you like, what it all comes down to is Del Piero and you can keep on denying it as much as you like

Get over what exactly? Which part of my previous posts is twisted? Can't you process when I'm saying people here hate Zlatan more than the other players who left Juve because he was more important to us?

90% of the people who can't stand Ibrahimovic here, are people with Del Piero usernames and avatars

What a great conclusion it is. 90% of people who can't stand Ibra are Del Piero's fanboys based on your logic. It's just wonderful how you inventing figures, statistical statements and then deduce base on them. By this way it's honestly more logical to say that most of the people who love Zlatan here are either of Croatian, Bosnian and Swedish descents or Sweden residents. It's funny I know, but sure it is not as ridiculous as yours.

I honestly wouldn't even post in this thread in the first place had it not been wrongfully closed by Rab and I believe every other mod agrees with me. I would have just watched the video and went on with my life. This the COMMUNITY section of the forum, no rule was broken and if people who are interested in Zlatan want to see his videos they have a right to it. If for anything, than because he played in this club 2 year ago.

Reading all the posts, I have to admit that I was wrong at the first place. This thread should stay open. I still am not as optimistic as Alen and I'm not sure that this thread would help the whole forum to remain cleaner by gathering all Zlatan's discussions from the other threads to this one. I also think you don't need to open a thread for uploading one great goal. There are many great players with great skills out there but this doesn't mean we should devote a sole thread to all of them (it sure is not against the rules). When you choose Zlatan out of all this players though you know how people would react I call it provoking. But anyway this thread has been opened and I'm convinced it should stay open.

And I find it ironic that you mention provocation when in fact it's you, Rab, Turk, etc. who are provocating in this thread with the Zingaro posts and other stuff. Live and let live, no one is holding your hand and forcing you to click this thread. The way you're going, you're gonna have the most posts in this thread, if you manage to top Rab, that is.

I have never called him zingaro though I honestly was delighted when I saw the zingaro banner with the fans when we played against Inter in Olympico (the fans in stadium possibly wanted to provoke you as well, huh?). For me Zlatan is a talented player who is not playing for us. I don't even think of him as much as you assume. In all of my posts in this forum after calciopoli the ones about Zlatan are very few. Once I called him ugly and heck he's ugly but so what? I prefer to have one Adebayor on my team rather than 10 Nicklas Bendtners.

Hoori i assure you, people hate Zlatan and Capello because of Del Piero_Ofcourse there are exceptions(you are obviously one),but the hatred most people feel for these two people boils down to the Del Piero of 2004-06

The people who loved Zlatan back then are still fans of him today. And people who loathed him back then still loath him today. The numbers have seen very little change. Why is that so?Because back then Zlatan fans loved his ability as a footballer and they continue to do so,and back then Del Piero fans hated the fact that their idol was benched by Zlatan and even to this day they havent been able to get over it.The fact that Zlatan left us in an unprofessional manner only gives them an excuse to back their case with.

I'm sure you're wrong. I've never denied that I hate Capello because of the way he was treating Ale but this has nothing to do with Zlatan. Capello insisted on playing him though he was crap in his last season with Juve and it was just annoying but how can I blame Molinaro for playing every week when it is not him who choose the starting players? I liked Zlatan because he was a Juve player and I'm sure it is the case for ALL of Juve fans here (and delpierofan82 is not in minority at all). I enjoyed his every single goal, his every moment of magic and I cheered for him. He was not my favorite player but I like him as a player who is a member of my favorite team. As I said before, this hate towards Zlatan has a very clear reason and this reason is not Del Piero. There is a narrow distance between love and hate in this case. Figo was loved by Barcelona's fans but after leaving Barca to Real he was cursed by them. This never happened to Alber Celades for example and it's because he was not the player Figo was.

Apart from you Hoori, Turk and Angela are the only two people here who hate Zlatan because of what happened after Calciopoli.
All the others who hate him were hating on him long before he went to Inter and "coincidently", as Vlatko pointed out, almost all of them have a Del Piero avatar or username.

It IS coincidentally but there is another thing you should notice. Del Piero is the most loved player of this club in and out of Italy. Juve has many of its fans because of Del Piero (here I'm just telling the facts. It's not about whether Del Piero >> Juve or not). Ale is the idol of the fans. Now imagine one Juve fan who wants to create an account here. He/she will very likely choose a username with relation to Del Piero and an avatar with the picture of him. It's very probable. I call it coincidentally but this coincidence is very likely to happen. If you randomly pick a sample of Juve fans this would be very probable to see that most of them have Del Piero usenames and avatars.

Delpie fanboys can love Zlatan too. I am a fan of Del Piero (although not a fanboy) since 96 and I love Ibra. The two aren't enemies.

People that need to be less bitter and narrow-minded: Azzurri7, King Ale, Turky and a few others.

Oh, shit! I thought Ale and Zlatan are dueling every day and night and I was worried. Your comment comforted me. I thank you too.

people hate zlatan here because he is better than del piero is.

Not arguing about your sentence being true or false but I like your frankness. You summarize what Zlatan fans tend to say but they prefer to be more cautious :D

It is a great conclusion, the percentage was naturally made up, but it surely stands. Your conclusion stands as well, though I can assure you it doesn't apply to me.

Aynway, I'm glad you admitted you were wrong and you understand now there was no reason to shut the thread down.

Lets now let the Anti-Zlatan gang have their fun here.

Zlatan lovers are their complementary. These two, without each other, won't have fun.

Actually that guy is just provoking, but that should be obvious by now. What people are saying is you, the one man fans, are all bitter because Del Piero was benched by Capello for two years and blame the wrong guy: Zlatan. You should be blaming Capello instead. I don't think anyone in his right mind would dream of comparing the greatness of Ibrahimovic to that of Alessandro Del Piero just yet.

I don't blame Capello for benching Ale. I blame him for many other things such as his tactics, his incompetency and yes, his rough manner against Del Piero. As for the bold part, yes sure. Zlatan doesn't hold a candle to Ale yet.

You speak like you aren't one of them.
I don't bother myself to prove you the opposite if you yourself have not realized it yet.

i mean we have to be fair here, zlatan is a good player capable of greatness, he has immense talent, but he doesn't have the class of other players, but i have yet to see him really set a tournament alight, if i compare him to another player (not del piero) but kaka for example, you can see the difference, both talented, but one has much more class and is a truely great player

Fully agree, Zlatan haven't played big, decisive roles in the great tournaments yet
