yes, I can see how controlling games can be considered aesthetic.
:agree:

Anyway to add a little to what you just said. Zidane was an adept at the game. The man knew his game inside out. He knew what every little touch meant and always knew what he was about on the field and how his plays affected the game. He added value and class to the game that many of the players today can't even come close to matching. And yes he was also aesthetically pleasing IN ADDITION to all of this, but his aesthetics just effectively enhanced his already beautiful form. He was a leader out there on that pitch and an inspiration not to just his fellow team-mates but the world. And yes he controlled the game and wonderfully so. He could run through a side like a hot knife through butter sometimes. When he played the game it was like poetry in motion. :touched: Zidane was the kind of player that could bring tears to your eyes with the level of beauty he brought to that pitch. Indeed the day he left Juve he brought a different type of tears to my eyes. I was devastated even though he only stayed with us for a short time. I miss him to this day no matter what anyone says about him.

The headbutter, really left us for good, he seems not have a fragment of affection left or us.
If he becomes the nect Platini, there wont be any love for us, i guess its a good thing many in Uefa see him as a terrorist...
I realise now, why never Pirlo impressed me as a WC star, i had ZZ standards. With all due respect to Pirlo, to his vision, passing and FK, he is no ZZ, but ZZ was not a Platini either...

Head-butter? Terrorist? How dare you? A man makes one mistake and everything good he ever did is overshadowed by it. We are such a joke as a species sometimes.

zidane was a style of play..no one can get to his level ...but pirlo's passes and vision make me think at zidane, no other player can make me think that

He chose his fate, i have always had respect for Zizou, both on and off the field.

The last thing i remember with him in our jersey, was heabutting someone in an Uefa cup game.
I understand his frustration, also against the Matrix-scum. It hearts me more that he has denounced us and choose to become a Real trademark.
But it us who shipped him off and it worked well for both sides anyway.

No harsh feeling from me, he was an essential part of the Juve o loved the most.
My tone was sarcastic, because this is not the way to go and the terrorisc nonsense kept him away from an important Uefa seat...

Look, I was angry too when he left. I was angry that he went to a club I hated with a passion. In fact I was angry to the point that I didn't look at a game for a while after that. There however is a difference between angry about something and being bitter about something. And some of the things you said in your previous post just comes across as bitter.

Why? All because he left the team because his wife wanted to move back to her home country? It's admirable that Ale stayed with our club his entire career but let's face it, not everyone does that. I cannot hate him because he chose to move on. And really I agree it's very, very sad that he tarnished his reputation with the headbutts. I hated that part of it too. At the end of the day however, I can be disappointed in his actions, but I still cannot be hateful towards him.

Zidane is in a class of his own. I wish we could clone Zidane, Nedved, Davids, Del Piero, and Trezeguet. We'd win everything every single year.
Add F. Cannavaro to that list too and we'd have the dream team. Zizou and Davids worked great together out on that Juve pitch. I would love to see them back together one more time.

Anyway I don't know if these have been posted before:

Oh my at the second one! :sheik:

You're proud to see someone denounce Juve?
NO, i said that hurts me the most! But its his choice and we cannot take it from him, in a degree this is a justified stance, from his POV.
I made my peace with it, no harsh feelings or regrets, just a bitter taste one of our legends is no longer uno di noi...

You misunderstood me, i dont share those accusation, but there are common truth for most of the Italian football fans and prolly in our forum too.
I was trying to be sarcastic to the ones calling those names. I remember our bitter moments and how ZZ was left all alone, how gradually his frustration was growing (we got a deja vu with Camo)
and even when we sacrificed him, with the money we took, we were reborn, so we owe him a part of that as well.

And not because he left us,he did so at the right moment for him and us, but because he is Real's puppy now, he will def not favor us.

Nah, not one, he had always this problem. Doesn't take away from his genius though.
I remember watching that game and us losing and getting eliminated from CL which I was very upset about. I cannot for the life of me remember that head-butt though and actually had to Google it. What was he thinking? :sergio: I am pretty sure I would have cursed at the tv while watching it back then.
