The football is more like a business nowadays , juve offloaded players who wanted to stay at juve at any price and be loyal (maresca,miccoli,.......) so why the club expects loyalty from players ?
The only thing that matters is the contract , as long as both parties don't breach it there is no argument to criticism

I never called Cannavaro nor Thuram traitors because they didn't wanna play in B and I'm not going to call Zambrotta traitor. But I repeat Zambrotta is a diff case than any-other player who left the Club.

Yes, he played 7years, Juve and Lippi turned him out to be one of the best and wanted players around the world. Sure, he's still and no one can actually deny that he's by faaaaar and I mean by faaar the best left or right back, wherever he playes, It's never easy to find or fill his boots.

However, I expected Zambrotta to stay just like Del Piero, I've always thought he's the right Captain after Alex, as a fan I can't oblige him to remain with us, but I think Zambrotta himself as a player could have waited a year with us If he really cared about the Club....We gave this player alot, he's not old he could have done nice with us and when we return to serie A, then he's free to leave or remain.

I also didn't like the "Juve betrayed me thing"....I don't think we fans ever betrayed him, I don't think the new managers were welling to betray him, whether Moggi and his company betrayed him or not, they're PAST, It hurted us fans much more than the players, but hey, we're getting over it, why shouldn't the player get over Moggi and keep on moaning about him?

However, I still admire him as a player, not as a person though. I wish him the best only when It comes to the Azzurri. other than that, lets focus on Balza.

:pint:
spot on for most of it mate.

But we have to understand that betrayal is a bitch. I expected him to be the 2nd player to declare that he is staying but i guess not.

I didnt like wat he said, but i still respect his decision to leave and him as whole and wish him luck.

I don't think anyone is to be blamed for leaving, afterall it is their job and they are looking for the best for themselves, as any human being would do.

The problem is the talks they are talking is just full of crap, at the wrong time and it is only aimed to gain popularity, whether from their new teams or from Juve rivals.

Personally, I'd prefer if they shut their big mouths for the time being.

I totally understand where Zambro is coming from and he has every right to state how he feels. Same goes for every player who left, I wish them all the best.

The boy's got no class. He's talking about feeling betrayed about two scudetti being taken off his resume. Dont know if he realises, it's only because of Juve that he was in a position to even win them in the first place. And it's not like those two scudetti were the last of Zambro's career. He has the right to see it from his perspective. But as a human being, you'd expect a 7 year relationship to have more emotion than what he showed. He may have been shipped off to Barca in a hurry, but he asked for it, after thinking about Milan. Look at Federico Balzaretti. He's been here for 1 season and he's got more gratitude than Zambrotta. I dont care if he never becomes even half the player Zambrotta was. At least, he's double the person. It's true after seven years of nothing but blood, sweat and tears, Zambro owed it to us to set things right and bring us back where we belong. Why? Because he was certainly one of us Juventini. Alessandro Del Piero, Pavel Nedved and Gianluigi Buffon, all lost two titles, were equally betrayed by the board and also had other options. But they chose to stay. They may not be as effective, useful and as good as Zambrotta was and is. But they're all heart. And sometimes, that's all that counts.

    you just mentioned 3 teams
No, bes, just two. The complete name of Betis is Real Betis. They are from Sevilla, but Sevilla played the Supercup against Barça.

To say he was my favourite player.. dissapointed with the statements. He actually believes Juve cheated and most proberly deserves the punishment they are getting. Infact his statements are near to thurams but just not as explicit. Nevertheless he seems to care more about the scudettos and his love for milan rather than anything else. I believe the board did well to sell him to barcelona instead. What he doesnt realise is the circumstances behind this matter and by all means he should say something nice or another about his former club, instead his moaning about how juve betrays him. He is entitled to his opinion but one things for sure IMO he certainly has let down Juve and the fans. Canavaro may have showed two faces and well toa certain extent may be regarded as a mercenary however whatever happens he had 'good' things to say about Juve and especially about this scandal where he believed the scudetto was won on the pitch. Zambros words simply justify that he actually believes that something dodgy was done, and not only that so much so that it actually had a greater bearing to what the players did on the pitch. A disguised merceneary. :yuck:

He still don't get it! Hey, Gianluca, you're not betrayed by former directors, you're betrayed by Berlusconi, Morati, Sensi and other scums!

All the guys who left just can't take on real challenges, and those who stayed will be remembered as legends forever, not only to us juve fans but football fans in general.

I really expected him to stay.... but well ill not bash him.

He explained why he left Juve and that is understandable.

It hurts so much to see him playing in Barcelona tho.
