Zanetti not for sale, insist Inter Wednesday 17 August, 2005

Inter chief Massimo Moratti has dismissed suggestions that Cristiano Zanetti will be sold before the end of this month.
The midfielder has been heavily associated with a switch to Juventus but Moratti has ruled out such an option.
"Cristiano Zanetti is a player who will be of great use to us," Moratti said. "I’ve seen him in training lately and I like the look of him. We have no intention of selling him."
The former Roma and Italian international was rumoured to be on his way out seeing as his contract expires In June 2006.
But Moratti is confident that there is still time to agree new terms before he would be free to leave for no transfer fee next summer.
"It is true that his deal will finish in a year but that doesn’t mean we won’t find a solution for his renewal before then," he concluded.
Zanetti, who appeared at the 2002 World Cup Finals, is a tough tackling defensive midfielder.
The 28-year-old has also been associated with a move to Fiorentina, the club where he started his career back in 1993
