Zalayeta offered for Zanetti

Juventus are set to offer Inter the services of Marcelo Zalayeta in an effort to land Cristiano Zanetti.

The latter is known to be a target for the Bianconeri after working with boss Fabio Capello at Roma in the past.

Zanetti (pictured) has been linked with the Turin giants for some time who seem to be looking for a new central midfielder.

Although Patrick Vieira and Giuliano Giannichedda have replaced Stephen Appiah and Alessio Tacchinardi this summer, there could be more changes to the Old Lady’s squad.

It is already believed that the champions have offered Fabrizio Miccoli to the San Siro outfit in return for Zanetti.

But it now seems that the Stadio Delle Alpi side are ready to sacrifice Zalayeta as the Nerazzurri continue to look for a new striker.

Boss Roberto Mancini is still one forward short after the departure of Christian Vieri to Milan this summer.

Zanetti’s proposed move to Juventus could still be on as the former Fiorentina player didn’t play in the Champions League last night.

Actually Zanetti not playing in the Champions League is a BIG sign that he will probably leave Inter. They did that trick with Cannavaro last year, not playing him in the qualifyers so that he can play CL with another team. Zalayeta wanted to leave, but at Inter he won't have more chance of playing.

Yes he will have more chance of playing at Inter, there he will be the third striker not the fifth or even sixth.

Micolli will be used for a deal with Roma.

Let him go to any Spannish club or Benfica in exchange for Miguel.
I don't want to see him in fvcking nerazurro jersey, which I hate so much.

We're better of keeping him, or trading him to another league maybe in exchange of Miguel, than giving him to Inter so he can score against us in the Scudetto race.

Capello has these players that he always wants to but no matter what club he's in charge in. Ibrahimovic, Chivu, Zanetti and Panucci and some more.

The 1st 2 r good, but for the other 2, I really don't know what he sees in them that we don't.
