Well, I'm not that old so unfortunately I don't recall Platini or any other 80's player. I'd have to say Alessandro Del Piero just because I kind of grew up watching him. He's an icon and a symbol and he has a special place in my heart. That doesn't mean I can't be objective though.

i am young.... so i havnt seen platini or anyone from that era play.
i boiled it down to delpiero, zidane, nedved, and zlatan.
