Kind of because we actually don't wish a person good luck.."Allah Ywafgk" means "May God grant you success - in what you're trying to achieve"

Maybe success is not the best word to describe it though .. :undecide:

That's interesting, though a little bit frightening as well. Is there no 'casual' version of that phrase?

Actually, that's as casual as it gets... :D

It's extrenely common to hear Inshallah (God willing), Al7md Lillah (Praise God) and all these in everyday conversations. :)

So is the smell of weed to Saudi noses on public streets in Amsterdam :D

I guess because we all pretty much share the same religion, it makes it less awkward and more useable. :)

Much similar to how "Happy Holidays" greeting cards are slowly replacing "Merry Christmas" cards :)
