Oh, come on you are either naive or dumb...do you really think a SPANIARD cares about the Premiership? Do you think they annouce EPL scores at the end of La Liga games? Do you think all football fans in Spain buy cable TV so they can watch Match Of The Day?
Do you think fans of the EPL, care about La Liga? Fact is they dont, Spaniards dont care bout EPL, same as English people dont care about La Liga...oh that comment from Reyes, its called PR...(Public Relations)...
Do you think he was thinking about this 'Arsenal blanket', when we was tell that Spanish Radio Station that he wanted to leave Arsenal...and that he didnt want to play with 'bad people'...
My god, you are even more of a media whore then i could of imagined.
Its not the relative fact whether a spaniard cares about the premiership, its whether he is happy at arsenal and wants to stay there.
The british media enjoys making things up and spinning things out of proportion because thats what makes the football world interesting. I bet you didnt know this, but contrary to popular belief, Aragones did not say anything racial towards Henry. this is merely a british tabloid exgeration. A good honest man i know who speaks fluent spanish and is married to a spanish wife explained me something about the spanish language. Unlike english, it is very common to refer to someone based on their pyshcial appreance. For example, if a group of 4 people were talking, and a black person says something, if one member of the group asked who said that, it is often refered to as the 'black guy'. This has absolutely no racial slur to it. What aragones was trying to say was merely prove to me your better then the black guy, but of our typical british ignorance for other cultures strikes again and aragones was ripped apart.
the whole point of this, is that you have to read between the goddamn lines. If his girlfriend is back in sevilla, of course the tabloids are going to say she refuses to leave sevilla. If he says he doesnt want to play with these bad persons, he probably said he would love to play with very talanted people in madrid. he probably told the spanish radio station he wouldnt mind leaving arsenal.
If the newspapers didnt blow everything out of proportion, do you think the footballing world would be that interesting?
