He's good defender, at this age he already got a youtube clip (7mins) :numnum:

quite a big man. If its 1m, than great deal to have a cover. Our backline is getting ready.

aren't people always complaining about why we don't sign young unknowns?
Young yes. 23 year olds no. If he is 23 and not even Fred who is a guy with knowledge on the French league can say anything about him and there is no buzz whatsoever surrounding the player, something tells me this isn't a great purchase. But then again, let's wait until we've seen him play.

It's just that I'm still in a mix of denial and pure rage mode about us letting Diego go on a cheap and that we are bringing in pure shit like Quaqliarella for big money. It's surrealistic, the way we are slowly accepting to become a mid table club.

If he has Youtube clip, sign him already.

Obviously my comments are premature and based on a youtube vid! but this is what im seeing.

A defender whose position needs to be questioned. He seems so out of his position.
A good anticipater and reader of the game, some nice crucial in the box tackles and looks calm.
Good in the air
Likes to come up often
Skillfully works his way around strikers

The latter is a little worrying, i prefer defenders who do the job bish bosh and get it out of the way rather than thinking they can outwit a striker. He did that severally times in that video. Good in the air is always useful, he just simply looks like a player who needs more experience to me. Nevertheless if thats the best we can get hold off at a cheapy then may as well.

He better be strictly a backup centreback. We have him and Legro now that can back up Chiellini and Bonucci. 1M isn't too bad, and he's young and has talent that we can use just incase an injury pops up in our backline but other than that he should stay on the bench. Unless he can play LB?

"Juventus are a dream club," Benalouane told skysports.com.

"They are an elite club and once they come for you, you have to listen to what they say.

"I am relaxed at the moment but I hope I will get the opportunity to play for this great side, who are among the best clubs in the world.

"The new management team want to build the club up again and I want to be part of that."

Benalouane is only under contract with St Etienne until June 2011 and it is reported that they are prepared to part with the highly-rated centre-half for €1million (£823,000).

Really? Look, I don't want to sound too whiny cause obviously people like optimism but I can't really say that I share his views. We're not acting like one of the best clubs in the world.
