I guess we need Fred or someone else who actually watches the Ligue 1 to comment on him. Never heard of him.

    Fred:-

He is quite good with the ball at his feet, kind of like Chivu, he is a calm centerback and has decent pace too. I don't know about him being a leftback, i don't follow St Etienne week in week out, so maybe he has played there, but i personally have never seen him play as a fullback, even though i heard he's capable of playing there. So i can't really comment on his ability to play there. Whenever i've watched St Etienne he has always been a centerback. He has been quite decent for St Etienne whenever i've seen him, though i imagine he'd be backup at Juve. He isn't as good as Bonucci is.

As backup i think he'll be quite a good addition. I strongly doubt he's being brought in as anything but backup.

Well, I have absolutely no thoughts on this transfer, as I've never seen the man play. Hope he's cheap.

I also hope that we're going to go get some proper fullbacks. Enough is enough.

Nice transfer.. It's better than splashing 8m on Burdisso or sign an overrated, useless Italian CB like Barzagli who is not young anymore.. And he is cheaper than Bocchetti because Genoa trying to playing hardball with us..

    ITALY/ JUVENTUS, Benalouane is coming

Juventus will sign French centre-back Yohan Benalouane (23) from Saint-Etienne. The two clubs have agreed terms a few hours ago.
