I'm with the Aqualungers on this one.
Speaking of Aqualung, I've been looking around recently for some pensive, downbeat, somewhat reflective music that's suitable for driving/chilling (as in sitting on the verandah on a rainy day with peppermint tea in hand), and the following have helped me out a little:
Aqualung (esp. Strange and Beautiful, Easier to Lie)
The Fray (How to Save a Life, Vienna)
Au Revoir Simone - Through the Backyards
Cary Brothers - Ride
Damien Rice - The Blower's Daughter (a little bit but suits my purposes)
Augustana - Boston
Joe Purdy - I Love The Rain The Most
KT Kunstall - Universe and U
Lior - This Old Love
David Grey - This Years Love
Iron and Wine - Naked As We Came
That should give you an idea of my taste at the moment (whether you think it's crap or not), so does anyone have any suggestions?
