You dont have to be convinced by him (and nor do I want him as starting CB if I had the choice), he just a solid defender, not more, not bad or average, but quite good at his best.

He has decent qualities he can use quite well. I have seen him in EPL too, and though nothing great, he has put in performances that completely shut down top strikers and such, so he is atleast a capable defender.

Spain had hardly any chances against sweden, what are you on? (Russia had in 5 minutes more chances then Spain had all game long) The swedish defence completely closed down their constant passing quite easily most of the game.

Tonight Swedens midfield was absolutely supbar and supported the defence very little, likes of Zlatan and the cm pair missed easy passes that ensured that the quick players of russia could counterattack on the defenders with alot of space, and with good numbers. Tottally shapeless performance in overall from the team.


Pretty frigging retarded to chalk it down to one player, especially him of all, when his partner is crappy Hansson.
