it seems like juve is interested in him, and i think they already have made a bid.

Juventus are ready to test Liverpool's resolve for midfielder Xabi Alonso.

Juve coach Didier Deschamps declared last night they intended to make "three super signings" in the summer with promotion back to Serie A all but guaranteed.

Gazzetta dello Sport says among the names being considered is Liverpool schemer Xabi, while it also emerged this week that Juve directors have discarded their plans to move for the Spaniard's teammate, Momo Sissoko.

who is good for juve sissoko or xabi???? plz discus....

Really unlikely to get him. He is ace as I would say that Alonso and Mascherano would probably be better than Pirlo and Gattuso or they certainly could become better than them.

Need to be careful when everyone keeps speaking about young players to try and maintain a few good experienced players which we could be a bit lacking if a couple of the stars leave.

i think he is a very good player but im not sure what the club is doing. i mean there are rumours left right and centre at the moment of these good players joining, but where will the money come from?

Zanetti, Paro and Marchisio, the latters of course being back up seem like a good mix. I'm hoping the club will look for a creative midfielder, unless of course DD wants to play with 3 upfront somehow.

I would like Mascherano to join as well.

Xabier is going nowhere, same as Sissoko. Us Reds are trying to regain our swagger, same as juve so done expect hand outs.

Getting him would be Phenomenal. He can create,he can play as a Defensive Midfielder,he's great at free kicks - all in all,he's BRILLIANT.What he'd add to our team would be miles ahead of Mascherno would offer us.

I say GET HIM:D

Juve doesnt have the money Chap.
It depends on how much Alonso will cost.Im guessing it will be around the 15m mark. And if Juventus are rumoured to offer 12m for Mascherano, then 15m for a player who is light years ahead of him isnt all that impossible.I dont think money is an issue. The issue would be Liverpool's refusal to sell Alonso, which is very likely.Nevertheless,he'd be an amazing addition to the squad.

that 12 millio price tage which is on Macherano's head will be a lot lower come the summer.

Alonso wont join juve simply because right now, Liverpool play in the CL and it will take a few seasons before Juve rival with the best again in Europe.
