What is wrong with Ibrahimovic? Simple, he is not Juventus material
Makes you wonder, when the Juventus player of the year 04-05 (says the Italian fans) isn't Juve material, then... who is?
Anyway, I think I know what you mean. Juventus way of playing under Capello (slow, controlling) doesn't exactly fit mr Ibrahimovic perfectly at all times.

His mentality is whats wrong with him.

Im telling you, something bad has happened to this kid, he has a major chip on his shoulder and everytime he goes on the field, he plays like he needs to prove something to someone and plays with that stupid attitude.

To be a successfull professional player, you obviously need the skills but you also need a good level head and a disciplined mentality.
Im afraid zlatan just doesnt have the right mentality.
Hey, what does he care, he's playing for one of the best teams in the world and he's filthy rich, so f u and blah blah blah.

Well unless his manager or coach or parents or friends get him some professional help, i think he will never become the player he can be.

All of the greatest players of our time and the past have all been very smart, level headed, intelligent players, yes even maradona ( when he played that is )

Players, like zlatan, totti, cassano, tevez, and many many more, make me very angry. They are gifted, they put in all this hard work, make ridiculous amounts of money and they play with this stupid idiotic and childish mentality. Something is very wrong with these people and its obviously something that money cannot fix. :)

Good luck to him and all players like him.
Good players that will never be great because to put it simply, they are arrogant, vain, idiots.

Forza Juve :)

It doesn't seem to fit anyone in the Juventus team, apparently..

I'm sorry, but where did you get this information? Unless he called you and told you personally, which I sincerely doubt, then I see no other reason to pass this kind of judgement.

I agree Ibra tries too hard most of the times, at first I thought he was trying to prove his worth but now I realise that all the praises has gotten to him and he wants to be more then GREAT, he wants to be GREATEST. And thus game by game he tries to do something spectacular.

Even with every touch, not only in every game. He has to realize that he must be smart with his skills. Know when to stand out and attract attention and when to fly low under the radar and become almost invisible, letting his teamates get into the game more. Then when the opponents least expect a slick move, he can unleash his talents.

If he unleashes everytime, then the defenders will more easily anticipate and expect Zlatan to do the unobvious.

to be honest, I think he'll become more and more of a liability, he's not clever and certainly lacks the maturity to change, has a massive ego but his talents don't come close to measuring up that ego. can only see his form become more fragmented and his behaviour deteriorate even further.

Maybe he and Juve aren't a match made in heaven after all.

naahh, I think Ibra'a actually among the smarter players, he just doesn't hold any emotions back at all. But he is young, and loves to challange himself.

I meant onfield intellegence too, , he just tries way too hard...like he's expecting himself to perform wonders with every touch. But he does make intelligent passes and dribbles, jus too selfish at times, with this regard (decision making) yeah I guess you can consider that, lacking intelligence.

The problem with Zlatan is his imperious need for show-off trying to impress the people each time he faces a defender.

In the rare ocassions when he forgets about the show-off and make things instinctively and at first intention, paradoxically, he becomes a extraordinary player......

Yes, Zlatan just often tries to make something extraordinary when it would be much better for the team if he would make something easy. I sometimes get really angry if he could easily give the ball to a player that is standing in a better position but tries himself.

And when he tries something extraordinary every time as the match progresses he goes from losing the ball to losing his head. :groan:

Never put Zlatan in the same vein as Totti or Cassano. You people have seen him on the field for not even 1 ½ year. I've seen him since he started out in Allsvenskan. Just wait and see till you get a wider picture of him.
