A Norwegian reporter asked Solberg to say a nice thing about Richard Burns. "His girlfriend is really nice". :D
Typical for Hollywood & he just got married  :D

If Burns rediscovers his form at Subaru then next season will be knife on edge stuff

Pannizi has joined Mitsubishi - A bit weird but the asphalt ace has proven he knows a thing or two on gravel. Welcome back Mitsubishi :)

Btw, have you seen the new Peugeot 307 WRC?
    It's really
I find it a bit huge. Not classy like the Focus but a bit like a Citroen  Maybe it's the red colour. It's just awful - The silver bullet was cool.

    Wow, that's cool, Ali!
    Good luck to you! :)
Thank you Anna ... My fingers are crossed & my foot is on the pedal pushed to the floor  :)

Rovanpera the tall & gangly Finn has finally landed a full season with Peugeot after being confirmed as the 2nd for 2004. Loix gets the 3rd driver slot.
This leaves Sainz & McRae at an awkard position as Loeb & Simon-Jean Joseph both have contracts for next year at Citroen.

    Rally Telstra Australia
Rally Australia got onto a flying start in Perth with Petter Solberg winning the Superspecial in Gloucester Park. Times were tight as this is a 2.45km spectator friendly section with 2 rally cars taking each other on at the same time.
    Proper rally starts tomorrow.

Go Solberg! Go Makinen! Go Subaru!

Like Juventus, Citroen needs a youngster ;)
For me it would be fine if Sainz or McRae leave Citroen.

    Yea, it's gravel-marbles time again!:extatic: :thumb:
Richard Burns will be the "sweeper" :D He's gotta race on the 1st day.
I must say that Petter Solberg, Markko Martin and Gronholm would be good at this race ;) but don't forget,... Sainz could sneak :strong:
Like you said, Citroen has a good fast car, so anything could happen :)

Go Solberg! Go Makinen! Go Subaru!
Go Sainz! Go McRae! Go Seba! GO CITROEN! :thumb:

Loeb steals the show on the first day as Gronholm overshoots a corner and loses 16 minutes. Solberg is hot on his heels and would have been leading except for a slight overshoot which cost him a few precious seconds. Makinen, Martin & Sainz are all fighting for fourth. McRae & Rovanpera make the point slots but both have been having brake problems. The top ten is rounded up by Loix & Auriol.

Thanks Anna and yes it was a worthwhile weekend for us Petter/Subaru fans. Am impressed with Loeb though - He is an asphalt ace and look what he did on gravel  and this being only his second Rally Australia :scared: Just to think that the next 3 coming events are asphalt makes me quake in me boots.
And the championship looks tight. It's a pity that the leader has not won any rally yet!

Yep, Petter said that too :D I was so impressed with the youngsters in that Rally, I mean Petter and Seba ;)
I think that winning was a wedding gift for Petter's wife, Pernilla Walfridsson!

It will surely be a packed year. I really don't know if it is a good or bad thing though.
