Hi,

I'm a LFC fan and excited to be going to my first away european game. I have always had a huge affection for Juve and they are my second team so I had to go to this match. I have a ticket in the Tribuna Ovest 3 livello. I am worried about all the talk of trouble at the game. I will be sensible of course and not wear my colours or visibly support liverpool. I just want to come to the game and enjoy the occasion.

Can you give me advice on how to enjoy the game safely and how best to come/get awy from the stadium....etc

Thanks

I cant comment on Juve, cause I am not a fan, but at all European away games, away fans get treated awful, for example alot of fans throw things at the fans, sorry I aint helping you to "not worry" anymore...

This game is unpredible, it is the first time between Juve-Liverpool in Italy since Heysel, and football fans have long memories so I doubt they have forgiven Liverpool...but it also is unpredictable because you dont know if the fans will actually go, Juve have had very poor attendancies all season so you just dont know.

But your going the right away, dont wear your colours...and certainly dont go anyway near the Juve "Ultras" (if there are any)...

Amash, have you ever been to a game involving Italian teams? Especially teams that hate each other? Cause "normally people" can very easily "change" to "beasts" as you called them...

I dont think so, violence in Italy is rare at football games, but it still happens especially when teams hate each other, and this game is especially unpredictable because of the histoty between the two clubs, like I said football fans are unforgiven and have a long memory...

:D Yeah and take it off when you sit in your seat, although it is my duty to say I disagree because I dont like either of the teams playing, so if you want to make it more fun, wear a Roma top outside the ground, and then change to a Man Utd one when you sit with the Liverpool fans...

I know, for some Euro games they do, and most likely the Delle Alpi will be mostly full, I am only saying it is unpredictable...

Not only is the stadium full for some Euro games, but how on earth could it not be full for this game? Let's be honest, if you have the chance to go to this game and you don't, you're not a fan.

To go Old Skool on Burke's Dr. Dre binge this morning, let me quote a little Flavor Flav for you on the subject:

Don't believe the hype.

I have a ticket in the Tribuna Ovest 3 livello.
Why have you got a ticket for ovest 3 and not in the away section where loads of tickets are available??

I doubt you will get your ticket as the club said last week that anyone with a british passport would not be issued tickets in Home seating.

even if you may have been joking when you said this .. but its the dumbest thing i ever heard.... he ll get beaten for wearing a roma shirt in turin its not like juve fans love roma... and then he could get beaten up again by liverpool fans for wearing the man utd jersey i dont kno the relationship between liverpool and man utd but if everyone hates man utd why wouldnt they ....... jus get one of these scarfs half juve half liverpool ... i think tht is pretty sweet get them confused on who ur supporting

you have right to worry, but the place you will sit will be away of troubles (if happens), try not to hang up with the other groups (english fans) in bars etc.. and don't tell anyone you are an english.
Our fans are not troublemakers but I can't guarantee you about this one.don't worry, just go and have fun :)
