We need a point against England so badly but I can't see it happening. Like the Italy that you and Dru like to shit on for some reason, this team has the same problem of converting chances, but with the added handicap of being an overall step lower in quality. Been like this for a while now. We all know we're good to concede AT LEAST one goal per game against even mid-level opposition, but I don't feel that heart like I did in 2010 or 2014 for example. Maybe Reyna will change things, who knows. Gotta hope that slimy fuck Bale slips up too now.

Great assist, but Pulisic was really disappointing today too. He messed up quite a lot going forward and his set pieces were subpar. With how much everyone talks him up I really hope the pressure isn't getting to him.
Pulisic is a good player, but there are many players just as good him. In a top club, he's more of a squad player really.

Weah was impressive to me though.

I agree, he's good in the reference to other US players, but he isn't "good" compared to the top 35 players in the world.
It's a bit of a shame that he's hyped this much, because sooner or later people will be disappointed because of their insane expectations. In the end he did have a really nice assist and influenced the outcome of the game.

Argentina's lineup does't impress me.

Yea, that's been the take for quite some time. Do you remember Freddy Adu?

I do, but Pulisic has a lot more going for him. He had 127 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and has already played for Chelsea 133 times. I wouldn't say he's their best player, but he's regularly playing for a top club in Europe. That's not bad at all.

No, and he gets assists and goals relatively often, not as often as for Dortmund, but still. I'd love if he left and went to a team he would play more regularly for.

These camera angles absolutely suck. They are all too low.

When the near sideline is visible you can still see 40 rows of fans on the opposite side.
