Hats off to Canada, great game from them.

The only Belgian who I felt was good was Hazard, but we pulled him off. Afterwards everyone was horrendous.

Only put 3 of 23 attempts on target. And one of them was the poor penalty taken.

David was an absolute joke today.
A shame, because David used to play in Belgium and I know what he's capable of. He's a lot better than he looked today.

He looked a lot better in qualifying, although he mostly scored against minnows. Larin scored most of our big goals against Mexico and the US. To be fair, Larin was completely anonymous after coming on, but he was kind of stuck supporting David. Not sure why the coach didn’t sub off David for Larin. The team was creating a lot, just needed someone to finish.

He's been good against good teams in Europe on a club level as well. David is a solid player. I can't really explain why he was so poor today.

A bit more experience on this level and Canada would have won today, no doubt.
