That was a typical example when a handball isn't a penalty. The Iceland player got the ball with a flying start, which deflected from his foot to his hand, which was in natural position.

Did you see that defender just standing still with the ball in their box, Iceland player just strolls up to him and takes it, dribbles two players and shoots at goal. Bizzare level of focus.

Imo that late tackle on Biglia was more of a pk then that unavoidable handball.

There was a deflection, but that was not a normal hand position. He "extends" his body with his hands. No intention, but he created a massive advantage with his hand. This could fall under "careless" when you see other defending with their hands behind their back; I've seen Licht do that several times.

Anyway, get Dybala & Higgy to start the show :flag1:
