Sure, this article was in jest. But it definitely smacks of something written by someone with a personal axe to grind from experience. (Though how many guys out there haven't at least experienced some of the tenets in the ladder theory?)

I've been friends with women that I've had a jones for. It's a tough detail, but doable. If you're friends with them primarily because of their attractiveness to you, that never has the chance of ever being a real friendship anyway. They have to have other non-sexual connections to you for that friendship to persist.

And hey -- if you had to make a choice between having ugly girls or hot girls to be friends with, the latter may bring a bit of torture but it certainly has many other advantages that aren't as apparent on the surface. ;)

Of course, being married changes the balance a little. I'm completely committed and faithful to my wife, but I also have a few attractive single women friends (and a wife that's fortunately not jealous!) -- and it largely takes any pressure off of hanging out with them (and may do the same for them as well).

It depends actually, I have females as friends and I had females as friends who are no longer friends and are no longer people that I speak to or know anything about.

Well in my experience, the only girls that I've really managed to maintain a platonic friendship with are those that I grew up in the same 'hood' with...

    Girls have interests in:

    Music/Dance
    Travel/shopping
    Men/Beauty

    and.... thats it

What to talk about with them?
Soon or later a guy with other interest than just that will get bored and ask for more

It's is possible to be friends with a woman. However, the occassional dark urge does flash through your mind, and it is then up to you to keep your willy in check.
Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode where Jerry's willy and brain are having a chess match? That's funny stuff. :D

its a short list man !!!
    but it sums up everything,
ex:most of them care on sports just because they like a man/player,
its a real chalenge to find other interests for them not included in this list,
there are always the rare exceptions in every rule,
    but this is the rule:D
