I think problem was after that fine we did get from court. he did extend in 2019 when we were ok financially i think.

Miss him. he did inherite Gigi soul and Chiellini charisma. Gregorio always smell like Motta and Inter. Dont know why. Hope Perin will be starter from now under Tudor.

He was just a likable character with tons of experience. I dont think he really needed to be replaced and I dont consider MDG a generational goal keeping talent. I'll put him in the same bracket als Carnesecchi, Miret and Provodel. Just decent Serie A GK.

Im not missing Szczesny at all, he is good GK, but really MDG is not far behind and is earning half of what Szczesny was getting here.
Its also not like Szczesny was that reliable here, he had few stupid mistakes in his history here.

I would disagree on that. True that 12mln euro salary was big, only Vlahovic had bigger but did we as club cut that way costs?!
Tek contract was ending this season 24/25 in order to terminated his contract we pay 4mln euro to him. Did get back 2mln after he sign to Barcelona.
Di Gregorio cost us 14,3 mln + 3,7mln salary per year
18 mln for new gk overall
-10 mln cut from Tek
18-10=8 mln euro
That much cost us replacing Szczesny for Di Gregorio.
If we really want save money we should stick with Perin as #1 and just terminated Tek contract not get new gk. I believe it was Motta idea to cut off everything that involve old Juve under Allegri. It involve Danilo,Rabiot and Chiesa as well and later Motta started bitching about lack of expierience player. Dude you fired them. Why you cry i though. Motta pissed me off instead of taking responsibilty for it own decisions.

Also i checked stats of those two and aside 2 season when Szczesny was excepional better with 0.8 GA and last season he had same stats as DG now despite age diffrence of 7 years between them. It was not great deal in the end. Well maby future will change something but for now it s not upgrade for us. Also Tek was more active on social events for Juve, fans on stadium never booed on him and he did not shitted on Buffon claiming Handanovic was better gk.
