He also mentioned how in Juve all the penalty takers of opposition are analyzed.
Fabs said that in his club they spent around 10 mins and its really not much info provided. While Szczesny mentioned that at Juve they recognize 4-5 most probable penalty takers and analyze their penalties from last 5 years. They check everything - how the player behaves - if he looks to the eyes of the keeper until the end (Perotti mentioned as an example) or if he bows his head down and just shoots (Cavani here).

Thought he had a little bit more than usual to do today. Handled a lot of shots cleanly, even that crazy deflection when Chiellini tried to clear.

Thats why I wouldnt trade him for anyone right now. He has shown no weakness or signs that he will let us down. He is stable and already a big part of our team. No reason to risk anything with a new guy on the GK position, even if we believe someone might be 5% better.

Strange how he doesn't have a strong reputation by now Europe wise. Two days ago Courtois was talking about the best goalkeepers and mentionned Ter Stegen, Oblak and Alisson. Szczesny is always omitted in those talks

Professional footballers’ opinions are often worse than those of the average football fan which is why retirees like Dani Alves make the FifPro XI.

"In 40 games for Juve, Szczęsny has 24 clean sheets and only 2 losses. Best first 40 games for a Juventus keeper, ever."

then makes a blunder in the CL and people will ask for his head.
Remember he had ONE questionable FK positioning or whatever vs Utd and some already wanted him benched for Perin, whom btw they didn't want signed in the first place?

Watched a clip from ESPN FC the other day. They think we'll try to sign Navas and that Woj is error-prone, talking about his time at Arsenal.
I think that's where the Negative Nancies get their footy news from.
