It depends if Conte wants to change to a 4-3-3 or not

If Conte doesn't want to change to a 4-3-3 then yes, only a top player will 'change his mind'

But if Conte says he wants to play 4-3-3. WHOEVER we get that can play in that system will be used regularly unless they flop.

Keep in mind, if Tevez plays on the left and we use the new guy on the right, the only player who's getting benched is Bonucci.

Yes it makes sense because we will be strengthening the attack but you always have to remember we play with 11 men behind the ball. If the winger isnt capable of what Conte wants, then we will continue with this 3-5-2/

How about Carlos Vela, he's the player (as a winger) who has created the most scoring oportunities in La liga (50+) and he has really good stats so far, 14 goals and 11 assists if I'm not mistaken. And I think he could come really cheap. This week against Barcelona and Atletico he was the only Real Sociedad player whom was making thwm any damage, actually all by himself.

@Homero Vidal

I don't know how cheap he would come, really. I don't think Sociedad is willing to sell him for peanuts since he has been their best player, still has a contract till 2016

It's pointless man. People are claiming a 28 year old Cerci is the better player simply because of his stats in 1/2 a season in Serie A. He isperforming better, but there is no way he is the better player. Same shit with people claiming he is better than Nani :howler: He failed @ both Roma and Fiorentina. Everything goes through him @ Torino, enabling him to pad his stats. The same applies to Immobile, precisely for that reason. He'd be nothing more than a 5th choice bench option at a big club. That applies to both Cerci and Immobile btw.

I agree about Cerci not being good enough. We should know by now that just because someone does good for a midtable team does not mean that will translate to Juve. Isla comes to mind.

Giovinco at Parma is another to add to that....these type of players come and go so often and juve is always rumoured to them.

Nothing to do with him being at a midtable club; all players have to make their way through the ranks. But you can just look at his playing style and the way Torino plays around him, and know that he's not a player we want in our first XI.

Well put. I guess what I meant was just because he can get results there, it doesn't mean he will here. He's not particularly good at what he does, it just happens to work for Torino.

I believe that Arsenal has a 4m buy-out clause isn't it? I think there would be a way to get him under 20 mil, he's been maybe one of the top 10 performers this season, and been pretty consistent (and also growing in his stats and game) for these past 3 seasons. Adding that like Carlitos Tevez, he's not part of the NT, he would be available always and not be in risk for an injury in international duty.

And for midfield, I really like Fernando Reges from Porto, he would be free at the summer and supposedly we are interested, he would be the perfect defensive anchor to try to shake up a bit our style, but we will depend a lot on how Pogba's cretive game continues growing. But we also need another creative player, whether it's a cm, an Am or a winger it doesn' matter, it's really in our needs.

I just looked at Cuadrado's stats for this season…they're quite underwhelming to say the least.

I expected more. Cerci is killing him this season.
Stats are NOT the be all end all.One pretty much plays as a forward and likes to cut inside thereby being a bigger goal threat whereas the other is practically hugging the touchline.Plus Cuadrado was out for a month or so.

Its ridiculously unfair to compare them with stats.

And let me also say one more thing.Cerci is a doing well in a system which fits him well i.e a counter attacking system whereas Viola on the other hand are a possession based team and i personally have seen many a times Cuadrado has been able to beat his man and in tight spaces. This would suit our requirements ideally considering most teams want to sit back against us.If you look at Cerci against us,we provided him no space at all and thus deemed ineffective.

Cerci has obviously been more effective this season but Cuadrado is obviously the better player,no doubt.

Fernando to take Pogba's place if he leaves. :lol2: Biggest joke ever!

We're interested in Mame Diouf.

We want Lulic, his price is around 15mln. Bayern, Chelsea and Monaco are also interested.

We're also being linked with Rosales, Beck, Menez and Matuidi.
