There is no way they sell Callejon for 25m. The problem with most people on this site is that they wanna sell everyone for 90m, but expect everyone to sell their stars to us for 25m.
Forget Di Maria, griezzman, Sanchez at 30m, they will all go for 40m+ if they even sell at all. And if we sell pogba, they're gonna charge even more.
:agree: this is what I try to explain to some here but don't get it. Crazy starting 11 with "Pogba's money" where half of the squad is changed to 30m+ players.

Yea and no one thinks about wages , whether or not the players want to come. Also look at Tottenham, who received an absurd amount of money and look at them. They're doing worse than last year because they weren't able to replace bale. There's no way of knowing how all these players we bring in will adapt.

Which is why there can't be any dilly dallying with the kind of purchases made from the apparent 'Pogba money'. They're going to have to look at players with a bit more guarantee. Eg. I wouldn't spend 35m to get Lamela, I'd spend 40m to get DiMaria however. Though i can see the clib being fully satisfied wi spending 30m to buy a Cuadardo from within the league. Moving forward though, i hope theres a plan to charter a path where higher wages become more sustainable as the business model begins to generate more revenue. Or we're just going to have to wait till we create stars and sell them for crazy money to buy players whose wages we can support. Those that may not have the same impact/value in the same, or even a different position on the pitch.

Imagine we end up selling BOTH Vidal and Pogba. Vidal to Real Madrid or some shit like that for 60m and Pogba to PSG for 70m and seeing Marotta reinvest the money something like this:

Cavani
Di Maria - Pjanic - Sanchez
Asamoah - Marchisio
Sagna - Chiellini - Barzagli - Licht
Buffon

Would it be worth it if we ended up with something like that?
