70M is a lot of money…

It could bring this team to the next level.
Here is the problem though. This team won't get to the next level with 3-5-2 and if we want do end up switching to a new formation we would need a lot of new personnel. 2 or more new wingers and a new LB.

And let's not forget that it can't be some of these BS names like Menez and Nani because that will actually make our team worse. It needs to be wingers who are worth it and will make us even better.

we can all see that Europe is turning into a winger depend style of play. most of the attacking talents coming up are indeed wingers and attacking midfielders : elsharawy, hazard, neymar, griezmann, reus, berardi, lamella, Walcott, alex-chambling, etc.... so it is natural for a team like juve to transition to that style f play. with players like berardi coming in we MUST buy wingers to complement him. I would rather see berardi score 15 goals for juve then tevez score 20 because at the end of the day berardi is going to be our future and tevez is only temporary. furthermore berardi is actually a player that makes a difference against BIG teams (ie scored against Milan and roma) whereas tevez has not done that and although he is our top scorer may I remind u that he scored 3 goals against sassuolo. Juve are now in a state where if they don't buy at least 2 world class wingers + develop berardi into a world class winger it won't compete in Europe regardless of the strength of central midfield. Nani, menez, biarbiany are players that WILL NOT make the difference regarless of conte's effort they won't get us top 8 or top 4 in CL; conte is a great manager but not a magician. players like sanchez, dimaria, iturbe (still needs development), girezmann, cuadrado, shaqiri are the names that we should be linked to not fucking biarbiany or nani.

I said while ago that we need to reduce our squad a bit, free up some wages, make room for better players; glad to see we're doing exactly this. I simply don't see a point in having 5 forwards for 2 spots. By that logic we'd need 7 CM's, which we most certainly don't. Players like Isla, Padoin, Pepe, one between Quag, Gio or Vucinic, need to leave. I'd even add Pirlo to that list. Optimal squad IMO would be 22-23 players. To tell you honestly I'd rather give chance to one Beltrame instead of Quag last night, so call up few youngsters for Coppa matches if we snub this competition that much.
Marotta has proved alot of people wrong and I think he is heading in exactly the right direction. I totally agree but I think we should get rid of both Vucinic and Gio and keep Quag if he is fine with being a back up cf.

GK: Buffon
RB: Licht, Caceres
CB:Chiellini, Barzagli, Chiellini, Ogbonna
LB: Peluso, Ogbonna,Asa
CM:Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, Pirlo, Asa
St:Tevez,Llorente,Quag

I think this is how our squad should look like in the summer and then with the sales of Padoin, De Ceglie, Motta, Vucinic, Giovinco, and Isla we should have around 30m extra.

With that 30m we should look for 2 wingers and LB. We could also sell Quag and bring in a youth striker if we want.

We should be aiming towards a 4-3-3.

Well, it was 40 from the beginning, 50 a few weeks ago and yesterday I heard 60. Hopefully we'll be up to 100 once summer arrives.

And then get:

Di Maria
Cavani
Lamela
Sagna

Cavani

Di Maria - Tevez - Lamela

Asamoah - Vidal

Sagna - Chiellini - Barz - Licht

oh lawd...... win or lose games 5-4 and Conte would lose his hair all over again since no defence.
That is really sexy but Cavani is out of our reachgiven his wages. So put in llorente and it seems more realistic.

If a bidding war STARTS at 70m. Sell him.

I love Pogba but he's repeatedly hinted at not being tied down to Juve. Best of luck to him but i'd feel gutted if we pass up a chance to sell him for crazy money, only for us to panic sell him some time in the future

I think we'll get about 60-70.

People laughed when I said that a month ago, then Beppe came out and said we won't consider offers under 60M.

Nah, we should have just caved in and sold him for 30? Right? :disagree:

Pogba out
Isla 50% out
Giovinco out
Vucinic out

Rodriguez in
Berardi in
Nani in
Suarez in
Cheap but decent CM IN. Matuidi?

do you think that Atlético will sell Costa for 30-35M? they sold Falcao for +60M, Costa will leave for at least 50M

and that's a really shitty way to spend 70M, Menez and Nani? rather keep Pogba

To me all three of those are impossible.

I can see Mandzukic, and Nani come though.

Basically, whoever people fancy. We sell Pogba and in return we buy a top striker and a top winger. Player sales can make up any extra cash we need.

We use our own budget to buy a left back, sign a couple cheap players/free agents for depth. And we're just about sorted.

From the majority of what I've seen, Reus likes to play more centrally
Well on counters he will cut through the heart of the defense. In possession he will start wide and cut in but if closed down he can go wide and cross still. I mean, he's a great player, he can do mostly anything that a winger desires.

But this is major wishlist thinking anyway so I'm going to stop lol. Problem with using Pogba money on stars is their wages mostly I think.

Yeah everybody will have different ideas on who comes in, but if it involves a class striker AND Winger (If Pogba departs) then we're fine.

Anything else, like a LB or new CM can be done with our own budget. Regardless of sales.

If an offer comes for like 80m we don't have the choice. We have to sell and in all honesty while I think Pogba is an immense talent, this team could fortify its position as a cl competitor with a couple of new additions and that pogba money could solve it.
