Back to topic: I don't know if anyone has mentioned him before, but Murru from Cagliari has really impressed me so far. He's only 18 and could be a long-term solution for a left back. He'd also be already fit to play against weaker Serie A opposition right now, and I'd imagine in a few years he could be world class. We should at least try to get a co-ownership, although that might be a little unrealistic given the dickishness of the Cagliari president.

i like the idea of juventus playing 4-2-3-1. its the most common formation in modern football with most of the top teams playing that way (real bayern dortmund chelsea city united etc) and i think it would suit us well (we just need those damn wingers). here are some good wingers which i think are available for us next summer. carlos vela from real sociedad, andriy yarmolenko from dynamo kiev, evgeniy konoplyanka from dnipro, matias suarez from anderlecht and heong min son from bayer. they are not very expensive and available to us

And why exactly shouldnt Heung-Min Son be expensive? He just moved to Bayer this summer so why should they sell him again right away and why should he be cheap? They can play hard ball, as they just proved with Lars Bender, where they were reluctant to sell despite 25m+ offers. It's the company Bayer so they dont need any money at all. Of course, they are thinking more economically nowadays, but they sell, when the time AND the price is right. BTW he has not shown too much, so I think he wouldnt be an instant improvement on what Juve have..yes, he has potential, but he is still very raw and inconsistent.

i don't think Yarmolenko and Konoplanka are good enough for what we should be looking at.

Would rather see us try to pick up De Bruyne.

They play a 4-2-3-1
Badass is right its like this for example

clichy--nastatic--kompany--kolarov
-----fernandinho--yaya toure
navas------------------------nasri
------aguero-------dzeko

This is just an example. Some players are out of place but whatever

Last season they did, and as far as I know United are still doing it, although perhaps Rooney plays more of a CF than an AM role.
Man U play a 4-4-2
