A versatile mediocre (like bonaventure) or a has-been (like kuyt) to give us more interchangeability between the 3-5-2 and the 4-3-3 + a pirlo replacement or rotation player + a good LWB should be the bare minimum. If any Tevez like deals opportunity open up then we must pounce on them.

No need to sell any players to achieve that. If we are splashing the cash on someone then we have to handle it the way tottenham handled the bale situation. Buy the expensive top striker first and then sell Vidal/Pogba. I dont want us left with cash and no top player.

If Juve get through the group stage of the Champions League, I think Juve should try to get an attacking mid or attacking wide player in January who is not cup-tied - even if it means getting one on loan or someone who is experienced and a bit old. We need one really badly to give us an alternative in our attacking play. We will struggle to beat teams who have a sharp attack and a well organized defense.

I personally don't think we'll sell any of them. Especially not next summer.

I think the most likely to go would be Pogba though. I really hope not. But if he has to go I really hope we get a lot of money. Like 50M+ but I don't think we will.

As for that Inter explanation,its literally so dumb.I was talking about how they managed to succeed in one transfer period and you're trying to bring in their financial situation which is completely different from the current financial situation of Juve.

And do you know what caused them to sell the whole team ? Lack of revenue.Their expenditure was outweighing their revenue by a big margin and their wage bill at the time was close to 200m.The likes of Eto'o was earning 10.5m a year in their team.Another big mistake they did was extend contracts of their old guard like Maicon,Lucio etc with higher wages.Hence why they had to post losses even in their treble year.

We are nowhere near that level in terms of our expenditure to revenue ratio.If we sell one player for a big amount and make some wise transfer moves(with reasonable wages) to improve the overall balance of the side,we'd do completely fine.We are on the rise and our finances are only going to get better whereas with Inter,both their squad and finances as a whole were in the decline.

Marchisio doesnt have the near the same market value as the other two.Besides i think he should stay for the homegrown quota atleast.

Why not anyone ? I dont know,all three are top quality midfielders and none would like being left on the bench.Conversely when you start all three together,there is literally zero creativity among these players so fielding all three at once is a no-go for me.So you are left in a dilemma situation because this team apart from Pirlo lacks much needed creativity and flair.We cant sit around depending on 35 year old Pirlo for another season.We need to search for alternatives and selling one midfielder and replacing him with a creative midfielder would be good and would create a neat balance in midfield.The midfilder in this case,i'd prefer selling Pogba over anyone else.Selling somebody like Pogba ,which i would see as a sale for tactical reasons ,not just for money.

Besides you can use that extra money to either buy a Left Back or maybe a quality winger and make the side more balanced and not have to be one-dimensional in our play anymore like we are right now.We can also finally move Asamoah to his natural CM position and he can act as depth in this case.

I can tell everyone our mercato right now.

We will purchase 50% of Baselli off of Atalanta and leave him there for development. We'll hope he continues to impress and be the heir to Pirlo.

We need a healthy Giaccherini/Pepe type of player, to enable us to switch between a 3-5-2 and 4-3-3. We'll buy Bonaventura.

We'll try to buy Nainggolan for some more power in the midfield.

We'll sell Quagliarella to Lazio/Roma, and buy Gilardino.

What if he left ? The world knows he's fantastic. EPL teams, psg, perhaps monaco or bayern would show interest. They will not offer 3.5 mil. There will be competition and He'll go for a much higher wage. One that we cannot afford. Di Maria cannot be giver over 5m at juve and he'll get that elsewere AND a better organised/structured league. We'd be offering 10mil or so to get him. we cant.

Inter invested extremely much. sure they sold zlatan, but that got replaced by others that they simply couldnt afford, but did it anyways. they couldnt afford those wages, eto'o's wages. How on earth does a team make losses in a trebble year ? its beyond bad management, and it was simply, the transfer period.

The moment when we run positive, and a missed CL can be recovered by simply spending less in the summer (or nothing) and still be break even, thats when we'll talk about higher wages.

baines please. He played as a lwb for england. He is really good at crossing and set pieces im pretty sure everyone knows

He was left back for England, just an attacking one. Generally there shouldn't be a problem with him LWB as he can run and cross the ball well, it's just that often you have less space in that position, as you are the furthest wide player forward. He likes to make both overlapping and underlapping runs around his team mate in front of him, which Asamoah for example does not have here.

who wouldnt want baines the man is amazing. He is English though and probably will be too expensive and competitors in the EPL will try to grab him first as soon as Everton gives the slightest hint that he is for sale. United will soon need to replace evra who is very old now and with moyes at their helm they will probably get him. I wouldnt mind Evra here though since he is still very good going forward and he can rotate with Asamoah.

The coentrao and marcelo situation is also worth keeping an eye on as is the kolarov and clichy situation.
