Agreed

Sell a few unneccesary players, maybe even one pricey player, and rebuild for a 4-3-3

2 good wingers, and 2 back up wingers that are decent. Maybe even just 1 back up if Pepe isn't finished should be easy enough to find. Plenty of wide men out there. Even Berardi perhaps?

Nainggolan would be welcomed, and for the love of god we NEED a left back. Sick and tired of makeshift left backs.

I was down in the dumps, I was drug abusing and in jail half of the time. In jail is where I found the gospel of 4-3-3

Changed my life. Became a real upstanding family man, running a successful small business and loving life. Conte should read it too.

It's called 'Stop using 3-5- fucking 2, when your wide men can't cross to save their fucking lives'

Conte, pls.

I thought u were being serious

Anyway we look at our game today for instance. Milan had the width advantage compared to us and they were even playing with wingers. The 3-5-2 is useless and during the winter mercato we need at least one winger or attacking mid. I hoping it will be bonaventura only cause I know Conte will play him because he is a very hard working player. If we get Bonaventura we cant play a 4-3-1-2 with tevez and llorente being the forwards

I'd be ok with a 4-3-1-2 for now until next Summer when we can properly re-structure out team

But 4-3-1-2 long term is still pretty bad. It's outdated and narrow in itsself. Would be worth looking into for now though I agree

I think 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 is the way to go in football atm. Either way we need 2 per flank to stop teams just abusing us down the wings. It lets clearly inferior teams give us a run for our money and and other elite teams can and will trash us going forward.

Jese of real madrid. Could be quality back up to tevez in the SS role. Don't personally see much wrong with our formation, just think we don't have the players to get the best out of it. Litcht gets injured and we have to play padoin! Padoin should be at a serie b club ffs. A reliable back up player for litcht would do us the world of good. Asamoah isn't a LWB, and we should have never expected him to do well in the role. I wonder how much its gonna cost to get coentrao.

Would love Cuadrado

Licht is a freaking amazing right back but in a 3-5-2 there's way too much attacking responsibility on his shoulders and he's just not good at it. Simple as.
Can't cross consistently atall, can't take his man on, isn't particularly fast and not the best at controlling the ball.

Not taking shots at him by any means, he's just not an attacking player. And in our system we need one

How about this

------------------------Buffon--------------------------
Licht-------Barzagli--------------Chiellini----Coentrao
-----------Vidal--------Pirlo--------Marchisio-----------
----Cuadrado----------Tevez---------(Unsure)---------

Not sure about the LW tbh, Nani could've been ok but he's got a new contract at United anyway.

LB would be solved with Coentrao I reckon. Not to mention Chiellini AND Ogbonna can fill in there before any scrubs like PDC.

Asamoah becomes free to cover for CM and Padoin & co. get pushed further down in the pecking order. We could maybe even finally sign Nainggolan.

Imagine a rotational 3 of 9-GOL-AN, Pogba and Asamoah ffs. CM depth solved, LB depth solved, System change solved with width and all for relatively cheap.

I like that but then i dont for 2 reasons. Llorente isnt playing and I dont see who could be a lw and coentrao would be hard to get

Realistically speaking I dont even see us being able to get Cuadrado. I see us getting Biabiany and bonaventura for like like a ridiculous amount of money

Llorente could start, I just hesitate to put him in my starting line up as of now. He's an unknown quantity

I don't think Coentrao would be hard to get tbh, there were strong rumours that he was very close to being loaned out at the last minute to United. Madrid clearly back Marcelo over him and I think a £8-10M bid could secure him

LW I agree, nobody I know of out there presently who is a wide left player and good enough. Tbh I wouldn't be completely against Vucinic getting the spot again.

Cuadrado is still 50% owned by Udinese I believe, which makes me optimistic. Our relationship with them is great. Fiorentina are f*cking scum but they don't have all of Cuadrado so it could happen

If we end up going with an Italian fettish and overpaying for Candreva or Ace Ventura I will be quite badly pissed with management.

He had some good displays for Italy definitely. But overall he's definitely not good enough for my liking

If we're going to change system, we might aswell not bother if we're going to be buying Candrevas and Bonaventuras
