Wide attacker, attacking midfielder, who really cares. He drifts around that area of the field and has some skill. Seen his type so many times, they are always super hyped and nearly always flop once they get to the top level. Add in his attitude and no top team will be going near him for some time.

Why would United rave about him? Um, because that's what they do. I still remember Fergie's famous 'this is the future of Manchester United' programme notes just before a team of Kuszczak, Bardsley, Evans, Pique, Simpson, Nani, Martin, O'Shea, Eagles, Dong fricking Fangzhou and Anderson got beat by Coventry lol. Just have a look at all the hyped United youngsters over the years, but it happens at all big teams. It's called bias, something you obviously know a little about.

I've already said why we we shouldn't and certainly will not be buying an English kid with some talent and a fake thug complex. If he reaches his potential fair enough, but he won't be doing it here.
You haven't seen his type fail many times because the football world rarely produces players of his quality. And when it does they are normally successful. Midfielders drift around, doesn't make him a wide player.

There's hype, and then there's what people say about players like ravel. Forget sir alex, think about what his youth coaches say. Top teams aren't going to be in for him now, but they will once he starts tearing it up. By that time it'll be to late for us considering our finances. Let's face it, if we hadn't gotten pogba in when we did we wouldn't afford him at this point in time if he was at a different team.

Yup, we probably won't be signing him because the people in the big offices are probably as narrow minded as you on a situation like this. We'll probably sign these talentless italian players who won't contribute much to our team and we'll thus never catch up to the bayerns of this world.

Lol he's been okay for 2 years? Birmingham was considering terminating his loan just last season beause of problems he had in training with manager Lee Clark. Are we really comparing this kid to Pogba? You've been playing way too much FIFA kid. Oh, and before you throw the "hey man, you've never seen him play so you don't know him like me..." I've seen him play many times, and unless you are his father like @JuveJay said, you've seen him play just as much as any of us. So please, enough with the football God stuff because it's just gonna look embarrassing in a few years when he ends up a mainstay on West Bromwich Albion or something.
Yep, when he just got there. He wasn't getting a look in and his attitude wasn't the best. He was fresh out of the united academy and had asked big same for a loan move to the championship and he wasn't getting game time. Needless to say he sorted himself out and played the majority of the games of the season. The same lee clark was really impressed with his attitude, on and off the field. He compared his football ability to that of Paul Gascoigne.

The mere fact that you find it absurd comparing his football ability to that of pogba means you haven't seen much of him. I've seen them at the united academy. Him pogba and tunnicliffe in a midfield trio that won the fa youth cup. I saw him play at birmingham about 10 times and have seen each and everyone of his minutes so far in the premiership. Last night he was the MOTM in westhams opening league cup game. If pogba is so far ahead of him how was it not the case a couple of years ago? Or are you telling me pogba has improved exponentially since he came here?

I won't stop and a lot of you guys are gonna be made to look foolish soon enough. You might think he's gonna end up at west brom but I'm telling you he won't. Prepare the humble pie is all I can say.

Besides, how many English players move to Italy? I think Jay Bothroyd was the last one...
That's because they have no reason to move. The play in a better league, with better finances. Aren't we paying vidal and tevez 4.5 million a year?
tevez was on double that where he comes from and vidal could earn significantly more than that in the epl. Plus when serie a was the best league in the world with more money there was a serious shortage of quality english players.
However you'd think that a player who plays for west ham would love to join us. Especially considering what we've managed to do with a former academy teammate of his.

I know the reasons, I pointed it out because of its unlikeliness. Can we please have future updates on the golden career of il nuovo Zidane/Gazza/Zico Ravel Morrison in the Premier League thread from now on.

Another player we should be looking at getting in is Zakaria Bakkali. Extremely talented 17 year old who has just started getting game time at PSV. Had a few cameos at the toulan tournament where he was very impressive. We could mould him into the Tevez heir.

Well, since they last played together, Pogba has established himself as one of, if not the, best young player in the world. He was the player of the tournament at the U-20 World Cup and has been a mainstay in one of the best midfields in the world in one of the top teams in the world. Ravel Morrison is on West Ham.

In conclusion, yes, Paul Pogba is a much better player and has improved exponentially since they last played together.

Enough with this "let's buy young players just because they were good in X tournament"....You know who else played really good in the Toulan tournament? Giovinco. Case closed.

My man!

World class talent, a traditional Maroccan winger though. Made for the 433

Let's leave the ravel talk because you won't understand till you start seeing him tear it up. Have patience, it'll come in good time.

We have to buy young players with very high levels of talent. Its the only way we're going to compete with these clubs with endless amounts of money. Its clear we can't afford to compete with them in the market, plus our academy isn't producing much. Mind you he's already impressing in senior football, he scored a hat trick on debut.

Remember we once bought some random 19 year old from padova in 94, look how that turned out...

Word is at nike U15 a few years ago he played as a striker so I wouldn't say he's a traditional winger. Just most teams in world football today don't use short players upfront and the SS role in teams is almost dead.

He's double footed, and has great close control. Decent brain and decent movement. His shooting is also outstanding for a kid his age. If we got him here he'd probably learn a lot from someone like tevez
and could take over from him in due time.

this is the kind of striker we need. has the positioning, movement, and intelligence of matri, the x-factor of quag, the heading ability of llorente, and the hustling of tevez.

I was with you there, until I realised he is starting in a Capital One Cup tie.
and? he scored against liverpool. scores against chelsea all the time. loves playing in big and small games alike. the only reason he doesn't get as much time anymore is because of van persie, one of the best and probably the most complete number nine in the world. capital one cup or not, chicharito is a great finisher and puts all of our strikers to shame. bar tevez but they're different players.
