We need one to replace Giach. We need a change from the bench if plan doesn't work.

Been reading a couple of defenders being linked with us like Fabian Schar and Martin Hinteregger.

I find it funny unless we letting go someone.

Napoli and Inter are after Anzhi's Jucilei.

His contract expires next June. They want him in January.

People don't know him, but I'll tell u in advance: the guy is quality! I really think he should be in the NT. He was the best player of the country for at least one season. But then they go to Eastern Europe and disappear.

He's a 25yr strong tall and skilled DM/CM. He can play as a ball winning mid sitting deep or as box to box. He's not slow. Passes well, scores goals, is intelligent...

This guy would fit as a glove in our scheme. And he won't cost more than 6/7M, since his contract in expiring.

Marotta should DEFINITELY do this in January. 15M cheaper than Nainggolan and probably a better player, all around CM. Perfect for our rotation.

Some people in here are so negative about our chances of attracting top class players. Here is some inspiring stuff from the good ol' Celtic forum:

Should we move for Iniesta?

I realise that it’s early days and Iniesta may yet negotiate a new contract with Barca, so let’s not get too excited – but should he fail to do so, wouldn’t it finally show some ambition on our behalf, if Lawwell attempted to bring him in on loan at least?

Remember, before poo-pooing the idea, Iniesta has spoken of Celtic glowingly in the past and has said he would like to play at Celtic Park more often. Therefore, while we would face inevitable competition for his signature, it is obvious he have considerable pulling-power over him which we would do well to exploit.

@rakib567 Your opinion?

Is that guy taking the piss or what? Not only does he think they can get Iniesta but that they can get him on loan. :howler:

That might just be worse than any Arsenal fan's delusions.

Muriel next year please. I do have a feeling Sanchez will be targeted again.
Muriel is good but no thanks.

Gabbiadini is the forward I'm interrested in bringing him back if he has a good season(he already has 2 goals in 4 games), though we'd have to use him quite a lot not to harm his development. I'd look to bring him to be our 3rd striker (Tevez and Llorente being our first two). He looks like a proper striker who has a cracking left foot.

I don't even know. Some of them are so deluded that I actually don't know if they are joking or not anymore. I think a big part of them confuses FC Celtic with Boston Celtics too, that would explain a lot of things. Here is some more of "individual brilliance":

I know this won't happen but imagine if it did it would move us on to the next level and we would be able to start attracting big players.
Although the chances are slim that he would say yes (although I wouldn't rule it out completely. He does have a love for our club), why shouldn't a club of our size be throwing our name into the hat?

Also, anyone who knows anything about Iniesta would know that money isn't the most important thing to him, so talk of him going somewhere for a "final payoff" down the line is pretty wide of the mark.

Besides, Rude Bhoy hasn't claimed we'd definitely get him, has he? He just said we should declare interest. No harm in that.
We have absolutely no chance but if the club thought we had a chance at signing him i think we would offer a large amount for his wages knowing that shirt sales and added interest in the club alone would help make up for it.
Were those scoffing at this suggestion doing the same when we were pursuing Rivlado and Del Piero?

Jovetic will most likely be targeted again next season, since he's rotting on City bench.
He's really struggling for fitness it seems, the staff at City are playing it very cautious with him, I was gutted we didn't sign him but so far his fitness is a concern once again.

The Jovetic ship has sailed.I have a strange feeling he could become the Aquilani of forwards.Promising talent but injuries time and again are ruining him.And choosing City with all that competition wasnt the wisest of decisions.Aguero is in blistering form, seems like he went there just to become his understudy.
