We should sign Diamanti
I think that boat has sailed. I don't think Bologna want to sell unless they get 10M. Juventus are probably looking at Xabi Alonso right now on a free transfer on a 2-year contract worth 4.5M a season.

But to be honest, I think Pirlo will extend his contract for atleast one more year with Juventus. The media are just fucking around and don't know anything.

Next mercato could be stg like this:

Sell: Vucinic - 12M
Giovinco - 11M
Quagliarella - 4M
Pepe - 3M
Padoin - 2M
De Ceglie - 2M (some stupid Italian team could pay this, he has a good CV)
Pirlo - on a free

Total sold: 34M

Signings: Berardi (7M for half)
Gabbiadini (8M for half)
Jovetic (17M)
Marrone (6M half)
Xabi Alonso - free
Fausto Rossi - back from loan
Liviero - back from loan

Total spent: 38M

We would have Jovetic, Gabbiadini and Berardi as options upfront; Alonso replacing Pirlo; Rossi in the mix for rotation purposes; Liviero (good prospect as a LB) replacing De Ceglie. Team would get younger and more talented, spending basically 4M. And counting that Marrone will grow a lot this year, with playing time.

Mata isnt comming to juve cause Mourinho doesnt play him because he misses the exact qualities conte wants in a winger. Furthermore, he wont play as SS/AM cause a) not profilic enough for his pricetag b)we got tevez and cannot afford mata/tevez/vucinic for one position with our pathetic turnover
I can agree on the bolded part to a certain extent, Mata is physically frail and cannot offer any type of defensive support. However his end results offensively is incredible! And to say he's not prolific enough for his price is ridiculous!

Never going to happen buddy.

Especially the Jovetic thing. :D

I think Fausto Rossi is as good as gone as well.

I would definitely like to see us ship out De Ceglie for Liviero though.

From the little I've seen from Rossi he seems to be an interesting player. Another option would send Sakor to the first team.

Jovetic is not going to do it in England... he has a more slow/cerebral style of play. And shitty always sells their players for peanuts. I think there's a possibility...

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it won't happen either. It's just a whishlist..

Giovinco isn't going anywhere. Vucinic and Quagliarella will leave first before him, unless like said, its on his own wishes.

I can't see Jovetic ever coming here. At least not for a good 3-4 years.

Berardi shouldn't join us anytime soon IMO. He's only 18. Let him to continue to develop.

Gabbiadini should be monitored, and considered if he has a good season.

De Ceglie is probably the only Juventus player I can't stand. He just sucks. Liviero is playing as a LWB at Carpi and could be useful to us one day.

- selling our current second best forward and starter : retarded
- allowing pirlo to go : retarded
- allowing versatile squad player Padoin to go : retarded
- Thinking we can have Jovetic at that price : retarded.
-- double that price : still retarded
- Thinking this is brazil and not italy so selling quality players in their best days (vucinic) for unproven youngsters : ..

If we would deploy 4-2-3-1 he'd easely be amongst the top of my list for the wide positions. But in a 3-5-1-1, the SS/CAM needs to be both creating and scoring goals. many goals in fact.

Platini, Del piero. Both CAM/SS who scored loads in that position. Tevez scores also good but less then that. He however makes up with a crapton of defensive work, balancing it out allowing our cm's to get into more dangerous positions (if they start playing and stop beeing utter shit like at the moment, bar vidal).

Mata in the cam/ss would not outscore tevez, but offers significantly less globally.

And juventus cannot afford Mata on the bench

Signing 33 yr old Alonso for 6 freaking million would be disastrous.Thankfully its being reported by the shitty Fichajes.net.
