Just because we're ahead of schedule there is no need to slow down now. I personally don't expect us to win the CL. Because for any club wanting a definite CL is unrealistic. The best you can hope for is to be competitive within the CL and occasionally win it. We should be expecting this. We shouldn't be acting as though we're an average squad with no ideas and struggling to go forward.

Problem is we are struggling now. We will get over it hopefully sooner rather than later

Granted that is true. But defence wise, it seems to be a mental issue.

As for attack, 3-5-2 is being nullified slightly but either way we have a great foundation for a squad in any formation. If we need to add 3 maybe 3 players next Summer so be it. We shouldn't have this attitude that anything above a top 3 is overachieving, that's just not the case now. We should compete for the Scudetto year in, year out and we should be able to hold our own in the CL.

Juve's progress was halted for 5 years because the club was in the hands of fools, a lot of other teams have been refining themselves since Calciopoli. It isn't easy to create this sort of cycle from nothing.

we are spoiled. everyone expects 4-0 thrashing and unrealistic things like winning every game. I understand those who are frustrated due to the team's inability to play with brains in the first halves, but calm down it's not the end of the world.

You would instantly notice how much of a force we used to be and why we were consistently referred to as amongst the CL favorites. You will also note that these teams (most of which were smaller than Juve) continued to grow in size while Juve shrunk like a frightened turtle.

We have recovered in sporting terms (winning scudettos and doing decent but not great CL runs) however that does not mean we have recovered our status as a top european side.
Calciopoli KILLED Serie A, dig up the numbers for Inter and Milan too and see how far they have shrunk.
