Say Conte wanted to switch to a 4-2-3-1 next season and you had a 50m budget + whatever you could get through sales, how would you spend it?

3 very available players. Anyway, I just think Mata available would be the perfect 1st piece to a 4-2-3-1 switch.
I know none of this will happen because Conte would never consider this formation and Marotta would never spend over 20m for two players on the same transfer period but it would be really interesting to see how our defence and midfield would do with a more creative offence.
And especially since there seems to be a lot of offensive players for a good price around Europe these days. I mean look at Roma who have no money or the same attractiveness as us but they seem to have accumulated a lot of great talent for a the past few years with guys like Lamela, Pjanic and Ljajic on their team. 3 fantastic players, who sadly, would have no space on our team because of our formation.

Or switch Llorente with Bonaventura and use Tevez upfront. Anyway, Conte's concern defensively would be solved with Di Maria and Tevez who both are two of Europes hardest working players. Di Maria is like Pepe with creativity.
Basically our back bone and what is behind our success which is our defenders and CM's are still there and what you're getting by benching Marchisio and Vucinic you get back by Mata and Di Maria's creativity. Seems like a good swap to me.
Also seems like a good transition from the aging Pirlo.
