Menez for next to nothing
Luis Muriel for Isla + cash
Bonaventura for Padoin + cash

2 upgrades and a good young striker with WC Potential... tadaaaa
(only this won't take place in the winter mercato..)

Cerci won't come in January, there's no way Torino would let him go in the middle of the season, especially to us.
They only would make an exception if an unreasonably high offer would arrive, but we all know Marotta won't do that - and he's right. Also, while I like him, I'm still not quite sure if he's just incredibly on form or if he's really that good, perhaps it's better anyway to wait until the season is over and if he can mantain the high level of his performances consistently over a longer period of time.

In terms of the niceness of the cities, it's because we're wealthier, in part due to North Sea oil and gas.

And it's a whole different mentality you get from people across the north-east/south-west divide in Scotland.

We're more reserved and they're more obnoxious.

We're clean and they're noxious.
lolol dont know shit about scotland but found this hilarious

Luiz Muriel is an excellent prospect for the summer. Far to expensive for the winter.

Menez is a new giovinco, as in showed alot of potential then stalled eternally. lets pass untill some mid table team relaunches him

Bonaventura has to much to prove.

Luiz Muriel and 50% Cerci should be a target for the summer

Cerci would be perfect for 433, 4231, 4321 formations.. And then we'd bring back Berardi as well. Two amazing Italian wingers. (we're building for ItalJuve, not ArgenInter)

If they have enough quality I'm all for it. Don't particularly care for their nationality, or anyone's else for that matter.

Rather Menez for a small fee than what wud require a big amount to buy Cerci.
Menez for 2-3m is a no-brainer of a decision.
Menez for 2-3m is a no brainer if Beppe works his magic on his wages. 3.6m is too much for Menez, that should be his wages after a succesfull season where he gets a new contract offer.

Cerci and amazing in the same sentence :howler:

People's standards have considerably been lowered these past few years. I'd rather stick with what we have (and fuck no to sacrificing Vucinic if it implies getting those disgusting names being mentioned) than waste more money and funds (not to mention being stuck with those fuckers that we acquire for years) on average players/squad fillers.

What the fuck is the point of having scouts if in the end we only buy douchebags like Biabiany, Cerci, and Diamanti from other Italian teams?! :boh:

:D He's not amazing but definitely a good player these days, one of those later blooming Italians who has started to add end product to his natural attributes (left foot wand and acceleration).

Less inconsistent games, a lot of these players don't sort their heads out for some years.

We can always spend that '€14m' or whatever on some great prospect, but you know we like ready-made Serie A players with room to improve. You never know, with every Pogba there can also be a Barzagli.

I don't know. I just don't see him being a valuable asset to this team. I feel he is perfect for a small to mid-table team. Remember Lentini? He was infinitely more talented than Cerci and became a nobody with Milan.

He was an amazing player :agree: Cerci is nowhere near that level, which makes it far more likely that he will fail in a big club. I don't like spending those 15 million on ok players. It just isn't worth it. Hard work, commitment, sacrifice and all that jazz is fine and dandy, but it only gets you so far.

Ronaldo and Ibra can both be playing like shit, but conjure up some magic to win their team a vital game or get them the 3 points. The Cercis, Padoins, and Pepes of this world don't do that.
