So we claim to be broke, and we spend all this money on absolute scrubs/average out of position players. Not to mention next Winter/Summer we have Matri and Melo money

Seriously we have like 55-60mill in scrubs invested. And a lot of them aren't even good enough as 1st choice depth. It's time we identified realistic but USEFUL targets. And buy 3 or 4 players. Not 8 for the same price and then claim to be in an 'economic crisis'

Evra and Kuyt would be plan B players and not starters. Cesar would start or fight it out with Gigi.

It goes without saying that I dont want a 4-3-3 as a primary formation with Kuyt and Evra as starters.

If we get these players we'd still have money to make Tevez-like deals to improve our attack.

Not to mention we'd be stacking up the squad with more has beens which is a bad move imo.
Its time we have fresh injection of talented youth into the team.

Mibbees. What I would do is buy either the best left winger you can get for 25 or the best left defender you can get for 25. And then use the left overs on a tactically astute, positionally versatile, hard working winger. Simple.
